I feel like that is probably the game plan with Garrett so as he is available in the playoffs. They then could use the additional two way slot to give an older player some rest in easier schedule games. Wouldn't surprise me to see them bring Mulder back and have a stretch of games that Vincent starts and Lowry rests and they bring in Mulder (or a similar older player that is two way eligible) to back Vincent up. Or what ever is needed based on inevitable injuries that occur in an 82 game season.

I'll take Martin starting vs the huge drop in defense having Yurtseven starting which completely changes the scheme of everyone switching and your last line of defense is... Yurtseven who isn't good defensively and is inexperienced. I don't mind him being in the rotation getting 16 minutes a night but not starting/ending games, then there's the spacing issue of Yurtseven, Bam and possibly still Butler not being 3pt shooters. PF is an issue though!

I'm sure they plan on getting someone else for the starting 4 before the season starts if they fail to get KD. But as is right now that's what I think he'd have. Do you think he'd either start Bam at the 4 with Yurt/Dedmon, or Butler at the 4? Or do you see him starting Days or Jovic? I don't...

1. The meeting went very well, he does not know what was said in the meeting between all parties, however did hear that the Agent did most of the talking but Durant was there and did say somethings, there was a rep from the Brooklyn side present who did not talk. The meeting was held via conference call and very little has been said about any of the conversations from our executives.
2. Miami is moving forward with the plan to get Durant at all cost so don't expect any ancillary trades happening for medial upgrades unless they are meant to get assets/picks.
3. The problem now is that most Front offices are going on leave/PTO. It makes things drag a bit for the next 2-3 weeks.
4. Miami expects that with the information passed down to NY they should hold steadfast and call Ainge's bluff. We need to snag Durant before Ainge offloads Mitchell the repercussions of them getting a large haul for Mitchell could potentially cause a giant rift between all parties in Brooklyn with the expectations continued to be set over there at Utah basically raising the market value, meaning they could decide to play the season out even if Durant wants nothing to do with them.

Not crazy at all IMO, but only if he proves some type of consistency shooting. I mean we had Herro/ Nunn with heavy minutes their rookie year, so why not. However I’d doubt Spo will have him starting without digesting the defensive scheme first.

Conceptually I see where you are going with it, but Jovic gets eaten alive right now on the defensive end by a lot of the 3-4 combo wings in the league right now. His feet aren't moving fast enough to guard the perimeter 4s and the power 4s will play some major bully ball with him till he puts on some muscle.
