There needs to be a team meeting and Frank conversation about these recent performances. Not good enough.

Once we add a little more talent and move Herro to the bench so everyone is playing their proper rolls we’ll be cooking. New guys need some time to fit in

Well, we just got waxed. Kyle Lowry is sitting in his living room somewhere with a smile from ear to ear.

Not even mad since I expected this. All I can do is laugh. We haven't hit rock bottom yet, that'll happen when we lose the next 3 and fall back to .500

The league is getting bigger. Pacers front court just got massive as well. We are late to the party. Feel bad for Bam

The writing was on the wall against Denver in the finals.
Midget ball even at its peak has no chance. NBA is a game of giants, Spo just thinks he has lil ninjas lol

Amen. I've been saying it all season long that Herro needs to be the 6th man.

We have too many wing players and not enough big men who can score, defend, and rebound. We need to trade Caleb for another big

Everyone not where the homer goggles when it comes to him can see it

Yea we need another move or 2 tbh, step 1 was getting Rozier let’s build on that over the next 2 weeks

It's not the sky is falling. Losses happen all the time. They just made us look emasculated on the court tonight. We looked like we didnt belong on the court. Thats good, take the L and when we play them again go all out. For today they emasculated us, use that as motivation.

Team looks terrible. And Jimmy, continues to be very passive, only taking 11 shots. Jimmy hasn’t been himself at all this year. Rozier looks exactly like I figured he would. I honestly don’t like this trade. Like we made it to the finals, and Pat thought Scary Terry was the answer?! This is ridiculous str8 up. And I stand by what I said, it was a money/tax saving move disguised as an upgrade. Rozier is younger and is putting up more points per game, and Lowry was doing absolutely nothing, so by default it is a minor “upgrade” but in reality Mickey just wanted to save that tax $$$.

This team has 1st-2nd round exit written all over them. Our competition has strengthened, adding real game changers and we here adding Rozier and Jrich. Season was lost in the offseason and this trade changes nothing but the amount of money Mickey saves

That doesn't work that way, It hasn't for us. Size has killed us but its a specific type of size and the way its used.

Example, Milwaukee they have Lopez a 7ft who has a good all around game, but ins't this elite scorer or speedy guy so we usually scheme to get him on our wings on switches and usually keep him in foul trouble. Giannis is another 7ft but is a bad shooter and primarily a dunker, fast break guy, so we scheme to take the things he can do away from him. Its not a hard team to game plan for, we know exactly how to hurt them. This year its a bit different because they have Lillard so that could potentially be something that adds to the difficulty of game planning them this year.

Philly, is similar to Milwaukee, they don't have superstar wings, they have a great shooting, and great guard in Maxey but were ok dealing with those guys. Bam has always done really well covering Embiid, even when he scores in the 30's the points don't come easy, their usually inefficient, he forces him to use a lot of clock so that lowers possessions for the sixers overall, we usually scheme ourselves to beat these type of teams.

Denver is a totally different beast, they have functional size at every position, they are a very good passing team, and Jokic is pretty unstoppable as a player to begin with. Miami doesn't have an opportunity to single coverage much against them because most of the time they are a mismatch at some place on the floor, and there's nothing we can do to overcome size when its at all positions like that and their so good at finding our weakest spot. Their coach doesn't get enough credit for how well he prepares that team, the playoffs showed that he is a very coach at game planning just like Spo so the advantage we usually have on that side isn't as wide.

What Boston has done is they went ahead and got a big guard defender, JB is big for a SG, and then you have 2 small forwards with size at the 3 and 4 and also went out and got KP. We usually were always able to go toe to toe with them because they were a wing heavy team, that played small ball with Horford at the 5 against us to match up. Now were dealing with KP, whom biggest issue is health. Like we saw last night he got hurt, that will be the difference for them this year, if KP is healthy with how much size, shooting, and their top defense they will sleep walk their way to the Finals.

If KP is healthy even with the choke job and failings of Brown/Tatum in every playoffs the Boston supporting cast is as good as I have seen in a long tiime. I reckon if healthy the Boston team without Brown/Tatum is a above 500. regular season team on paper Boston should win the whole thing but they always comes up short.

The Celtics biggest improvement is obviously Porzingis over the flawed games of both Williamses. Porzingis really fills in the gaps of this team from previous seasons.

They did more though:

It's not that Holiday is a hugely better player than Smart, but he is a much better fit. Smart plays hot, Holiday plays cool, and the Celtics always need to settle down. Smart creates chaos while Holiday creates order.

White became a starter, which unlocked his next level.

Tatum and Brown both got physically stronger. An added bonus of the Porzingis acquisition is he meshes well with Brown. When Tatum and Brown go into hero mode the Celtics often suffer for it, but now they have other options and use them.

Despite losing Brogdon, their bench has been productive. Horford's lower minutes help keep him going. Hauser's D has been good. Pritchard may or may not be useful in the playoffs, but for now he's gaining momentum. Kornet's having his best year, and is useful, at least in the regular season.

They could use one more bench contributor at the deadline or in free agency as Hauser/Pritchard insurance when the benches shorten in the playoffs

Having said all that, the East is TOUGH. Milwaukee and Philly have the best single players. NY and Indy are rising unknowns with lots of potential. Cleveland will get Garland back. Miami will be way better than they are now; the Heat always bring their best in the playoffs.

Boston's no lock to reach the finals. No one in either conference is.

It's always been the case. The difference is that when it matters we usually still beat them while being hilariously undersized. It usually works until we get the the finals then we fall flat on our faces because we run into someone full of highly skilled, oversized players. To the point that all the grit in the world from us is not enough to overcome it.

I’d put it more on the several injuries and no one being able to knock down a shot last finals than I would size, we defended Denver fairly well
