Wild stuff

Spo got his eyes on the 2025 draft?!

See you all in the 2025 Draft thread lol

Do you guys actually think we're trying to win basketball games. Spo letting these guys do things I never thought I'd see. Terry has been given a license do whatever he wants to get his mojo back it feels like. We're low key tanking and I'm here for it. Agree with Greg

I don't think its a tank. If I had to guess for a logical reason though, probably Terry is just a really good team first guy who busts his ass in practice and is rewarded for it, simple as. And its not like he's holding us back from being a top 2-3 team, more like cost us a couple wins maybe.

I agree he should be relegated to 10th man or below status, but its not like he's a malcontent or the other players don't like him or anything. He just has low basketball IQ, but a really high motor, and happens to play the one position we are thinnest at.

There was a team meeting earlier in the year after the first stretch of games. It was when they were trying to figure out how to
get Bam the ball more and cut Herro/Rozier utilization. Whatever was said, Terry was never the same after. Not that he was ever a beacon of efficiency, but he hasn't looked confident or played with any consistency since. I don't want to go as far to say his game was neutered, its just odd the fall off. To his credit, he's taken everything in stride so I can appreciate his professionalism. He's not on the sidelines sulking or causing a scene like Lowry or Jimmy.

Didn't Rozier have neck injury last injury? Wonder if that is still effecting game. He clearly has not been same player this season.

If people think Roziers on off #s are bad, wait until they see Jaquez lol.

Can't stand this kind of reporting. Terrible. We know Rozier is bad. One of the worst rotation players we've stumbled over in quite some time in fact. Old news. But what does that say about Jaquez when he's much much worse than even Rozier? Classic scapegoat just like Butler now protects Bam from scrutiny.

Spo still giving plenty minutes to Jaime every night is one of the worst coaching errs I've seen him commit. It's so bad that it just has to be to dump him off somewhere asap. He usually gives the minutes to the contributing players after say 25 games but this year nope. I don't get it.

Yes he’ll say fine just trade me to Memphis. Basically tap out so he don’t have to sit or play here

Hate to say it, and I know it's early, but Jacquez is reminding me a lot of Winslow. His inability to shoot really hinders us, and it seems that we essentially need to cater the offense around him in order for him to play well.

I think playing him out of position doesn't help either, because he's only slightly above average in terms of size and athleticism.

He’s not as bad. Still more talented than Highsmith. Just needs a fixed role as a backup SF.

Memphis could be a possiblity If Butler agrees to play for Memphis but only for the remainder of the year. If Butler insure the Grizz that he will play all out like Leonard for the Raptors until this summer, that may be good enough incentive for Memphis to trade for him

If Suns can’t find a taker for Beal he’ll have no choice. This is why this may go all the way to the deadline when his leverage is done. The Grizzlies are a great situation for him to play out the rest of the year to boost his value and possibly elevate that team to a chip.

Butler saying anyone but Miami and Memphis is an indirect way of saying Phoenix only, because it seems like Phoenix and Memphis are the only ones with an interest and packages to suit, and he knows that Memphis just wants him for a short time like Miami. This statement of "Anyone but Miami (and Memphis)" sounds more accommodating but is effectively the same as he knows there is no other option out there to reject.
