Pacers or Knicks, who scares you more?

10. Would much rather see Knicks lose in the first round again to be completely honest.

As not expected? Your team is the no.2 seed in the east, you ARE expected to make the ECFs. Those New Yorkers, they gloat about a couple of reagular season wins but still don't have any balls. :lol:

10 = how the 72 win Bulls felt playing an 8 seed

I will say, vs the Knicks in the ECF, both teams fully healthy, I'd feel a 7/8. They're playing really well right now. I have tremendous confidence in my team, and am sure they would win almost always, but you still gotta play the game and New York is certainly better than the Bucks etc.

I think there is a huge key for the Knicks vs. Miami....if Stat can return for the first round of the playoffs and work back his way into shape for the ECF (probably playing 10-14 games) the Knicks can throw a whole different look at the Heat---we saw Stat for 30 games and there wasn't a single post defender able to stay with him AT ALL--hence he averaged around 14points on 60% shooting. I don't think anyone on the Heat can keep STAT from averaging 15points on high percentages---hence not making the Knicks rely so much on their 3 point shooting...which the Heat are gonna defend better than any other team in the league.
I personally believe that if STAT can make a healthy return and play himself into shape while the rest of the team stays healthy , the Knicks will make it more difficult for the HEAT than any other team in the league, including OKC and San Antonio.

I hope stat would play. Melo is a different player when stat is out there and for the worse.

Knicks fans are so **** annoying, on a winning streak they think they are as good as the 96 bulls, lose 3 in a row and they think they are a lottery team.

I hope we face the knicks in the ECF, end their season again. Lebron will take a **** on melo on the knicks.

Amare coming back is a gift to us, not a problem

Control the 3s control the knicks. We already defend pick and roll well. As long as the heat guard the 3pt line I think we are good to go

Amare makes Melo worse.

Melo is at his best when he plays the 4 because he is a mismatch most times. The only time he isn't a mismatch is against Miami when Lebron guards him. It is why I don't get why Knicks fans think they have some sort of matchup advantage against the Heat.

The Knicks are honestly just like the Thunder who are honestly just like the Heat. The Heat are just better and more talented than both and that's why they'll beat both teams in like 5.

I don't think it is out of the picture that the Knicks lose out in the 1st round again either to Boston or Chicago. Melo and the Knicks were crazy hot in the 2012 April too and we all saw how Lebron and the Heat spanked that ass in the playoffs.

During Linsanity, it was if Melo could fit in next to him, so that question has been asked before.

Like I said, I don't get this talk about the Knicks presenting a mismatch. Melo is their best mismatch when he is at the 4, but the Heat go small ball too so they would take away their best/biggest weapon since Lebron always shuts him down.

I picked Knicks because there's no one on the Pacers than can score like Melo. And NY can still play great defense. Still, I wouldn't say either team scares me at all. If we're gonna win the championship, we're gonna have to beat the best teams. That's fine by me. To be the best, you gotta beat the best. WOOOOOOOOOO! PEACE.

Indiana is just a clone of Chicago to me......NY is the only team in the east that can score and defend. No question it's the Knicks to me, though I'm far from "scared" of them.

Both are solid teams but Knicks have Melo and good 3 point shooters. When they are hot, its not easy to contain. Plus Chandler is healthy he protects the rim. I guess the Knicks also know Amare is not going to help them much and won't play him much.

True, we have far better record and 3 all-stars. Just don't want us to be over-confident. Need to play hard and focus every series and every game. (Not being challenged in the first round or even second round can be dangerous).
