I was just thinking MIA should go after Bynum in a S&T. Philly would probably love to get something of value back for him, and if MIA is interested in moving Bosh they could offer them an All-Star big man still in his prime in return. Then MIA can just give Bosh's salary slot to Bynum, so he gets the max deal he wants, and MIA gets the perfect 2-way big man to fill up the middle. Meanwhile Philly gets an all-star big to rebuild around. Win-Win-Win all the around.

Trade for Bynum and sign Billups in FA and I'd guarantee a 3peat. Bynum is the perfect matchup for Hibbert, or any Center they may encounter for that matter.

I wonder why I even read these boards........seriously

This is how we in the 2014 chip - attain best record in the league - sign oden - don't play him until ecf where we meat bulls or pacers - run the west team out the gym

Keep everyone, amnesty nobody.

Trust and chemistry on the team is the most important thing, do absolutely nothing to take away from the team, only add.

The ONLY team Miami fears in the entire league is Indiana. But even then, healthy Wade = Miami in 6. Miami should not be afraid of an even older Duncan / Gino.

No changes need to be made unless its a clear addition without any subtractions.

Tony Allen is out of our price range and teams will want more than a 2nd to take on Joel's contract.

Chris Andersen ‘absolutely’ wants to re-sign with Heat, says agent

Andersen’s agent confirmed to FOX Sports Florida the Birdman wants to re-sign with the Heat.

“He put it clearly,’’ said Mark Bryant. “(The Heat) gave him an opportunity and he absolutely wants to come back.’’

I like his attitude - doesn't mean he won't say I wanted to come back but they couldn't pay me enough

Because it was a contract, before coming to MIA bosh signed a 17 mill contract because he was AT THE TIME worth that much, coming off from a 24/10 season - and being a 22/10 guy consistently..

Yes he needs a pay-cut which he will take.

The clippers are trying to shape things up. They got doc rivers, if boston buy out pierce..he will sign there I am pretty sure
Paul pierce, chris paul and griffin sounds good.
If Houston get howard too. the west will be intresting. the spurs, okc will be there as well to fight the emergence of clippers and houston. I predict memphis, denver to regress.Golden state will probably improve over their last season.

in the east as it stands. its chicago bulls, indiana pacers, new york knicks and us.I dont see anyone outside those. Boston will be tanking. Bucks, hawks and nets probably shouldnt have been in playoffs at all.
I predict toronto raptors to make playoffs next year

Howard to Houston would be perfect scenario for us. LA is always dangerous and they have cap sapce in 2014. Him and Dirk + Paul would be too much even for us. So that being said, the duo of Howard and Harden in Houston is best for us. They would match up bad against OKC (Harden struggles against them and the only thing Perkins does well is defending D Howard with his big body) co probably we would avoid them in the finals. OKC/SAS are tough but I think we will still be better than them next year.

In East the only team that scares me are Bulls. They have so good defense and rebounding. Rose is a big IF but if he comes at 80-90 % from his MVP year they will be tough as hell.

I wonder why I even read these boards........seriously...Is this how the ENTIRE off-season going to go? - people saying sh@t, just to say sh@t

BOSH SHOULD NOT BE TRADED, his salary is what it is RIGHT NOW, so you want josh smith, d. cousins, etc. all of whom are wanting max contracts, but haven't seen the finals?

i hope east gets poor.I hope sixers make playoffs next year, and we get a pick between 15 - 20.

I think it was very wise by riley to trade our pick to them last year.I hope we face sixers 4 times next year, and try to lose 4 of them lol

OK I''m back after a long hiatus due to health issues, job promotion and some other personal problems.
The Heat title was a good highlight in a span of a few rough weeks personally.

Anyway, here are my thoughts:

Re-sign Birdman...that's a must.
Take the options on Rio, Lewis and Jones
Let Juwan Howard ride into the sunset.
KEEP Miller
Recruit Allen back
Amnesty Joel or trade him
Sign Oden, then start Birdman or sign Dalembert and start him.
Sign a 3rd PG, maybe Earl Watson or Keyon Dooling or even Devin Harris.

Andersen or Dalembert/Oden or Andersen/Varnado
Bosh/Battier/Haslem
James/Miller/Lewis
Wade/Allen/Jones
Chalmers/Cole/Watson

On another note, Chris Quinn is a Free Agent!

LOL I had no idea he was still in the league!
#HEATLifer #VFL

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.

I’m a proud admirer and lover of BBWs!

Is this just for Heat talk, or all of the NBA?

also, I am not surprised Birdman wants to come back, this dude is loved here, and his teammates love him.

But I think if they offered him the vet min, he might not take it. I understand him wanting more money, though my pipe dream would be him taking vet min and that's his way of saying thanks to the Heat for taking him in when no one else would. But I think that's asking him too much lol.

This guy is probably going to get a bunch of offers too, and maybe from our rivals.

Also isn't it possible for Ray to retire? He might want to end his career on a high note. But I'd love for him to be back.

Ending your career after winning back to back rings is a high note.

Ray will most likely opt out and sign another deal. He can get more money if he opts out(120% of his previous salary, so about 3.7mil) or maybe he takes a pay cut at the vet min to help the team out.

Return to Miami Heat
