What happened @ United Center yesterday?

They were awfully quiet.
Lots of empty seats at the start of OT. :D

Sure, someone will likely bring up the Wade 3 to put Miami up 15 in Game 2 vs. Dallas three years ago, but my response to that will be that Wade simply hit a three, left his follow-through arm up in the air, and remained with his back turned to the Mavs bench. In this instance, George drilled a three, then walked about ten or so feet towards the Hawks bench before being mobbed by his teammates. In the 90s, that's cause for a bench-clearing brawl.

You don't do that nonsense just because you're up by a substantial amount. Take that somewhere else. You do that by your own bench, not the opposing team's. That's unacceptable. For that alone, I hope the Hawks win the next two games, even though that likely won't happen.

In other news, it's interesting to see this Pacers team virtually implode after such an impressive 40-11 start to the regular season. Apparently Stephenson's head is starting to get a little big and it's starting to wear on some of the players, namely Roy Hibbert and the recently-acquired Evan Turner, who actually engaged him in fisticuffs.

LeBron & Wade celebrating in Game 2 after going up 15 in the 4th quarter is completely different than Paul George walking over to the Hawks bench screaming & half of his teammates running over their & celebrating. #2 seeded Miami was up 1-0 in the Finals against the #3 seeded Mavs when Miami went up 15 in Game 2 in the 4th quarter & started celebrating near their own damn bench....#1 seeded Pacers were down 0-1 in the series to a #8 seeded Hawks team that finished the regular season 38-44 on the Eastern Conference & Paul George & majority of the Pacers were showboating near the Hawks bench...Now which one sounds more embarassing?

And your'e 100% right, back in the 90's that's an automatic bench scuffle. Like I said last night I was surprised no Hawks player confronted them :nonono: they need to sign Ivan Johnson back for some toughness. He would've laid somebody out

Bruh if the Pacers were to do that **** to us last year omg pray for them

Who cares who celebrates and how? Everyone does it.

Pple are just nitpicking now just because we hate the pacers.

All teams/players do this type of inappropriate crap.
Heck wade n James were making fun of Dirk when he was sick in the finals. So let's not pretend we are saints. It's a non issue.

And you guys are right about the Bulls fans leaving early, but it's like no one cares unless it's Miami lol.

And many of us ripped them for it...and it doesn't matter too much, but Miami was up 2-1 in the series....

The two scenarios are far from the same

Yeah, I definitely agree with everything you have said in this post. People RIPPED LBJ/Wade for that little celebration after Wade hit that three in front of the Mavericks bench and started shadow boxing with LeBron (arguably the turning point of the series-- because if we went 2-0 going into Dallas that series was ours). Just look up the video on YouTube. Look at the likes/dislikes and top comments. People hate the Heat. Ok. Sure, that was a pre-mature celebration. Ok, them making fun of Dirk was stupid. But was Paul George did was so much more pitiful. Pumping your chest against the **** 8TH SEED AND RUSHING DOWN THE COURT ROFL. If Miami got held to that standard, so should Indy.

No offense, but that would be totally normal thing to say before Rose's injury. He was a far superior player, and Wall even with the progress he made is still a knucklehead. Healthy Rose > healthy Wall IMO.

There's no such thing as a healthy Rose, that's hypothetical thinking. That's like saying Len Bias is a better NBA player than Michael Jordan if he didn't die. What the hell does that even mean, they can't get on the court. And John Wall is a far more skillful offensive player. Rose is better defensively but offensively all he can do is attack and we all know how that ends on his knee.

I've only ever seen one season of Rose worth raving about.
