Why didn't he get resigned? Well, why didn't ANYONE sign him? I will never understand the Beasley love from some of the same people that rip Bosh and Dragon.

He is a career 45% shooter and 34.3% from 3. Average at best. His career ts% is 50.6%. Average at best. His career ortg is 98 while his care drtg is 107. So his teams average a net -9 per 100 possessions when he's on the floor.

I don't want him on this team. You shouldn't either. I feel like this always claiming we could use his scoring off the bench are still clinging to his college days, because his entire NBA resume reads like journeyman fodder. No thanks. We've tried this bum long enough to know he's a bum. He could be tearing it up in the JCC and it wouldn't be any different.

Dang Rock, tell us how you really feel...

My diagnosis is that fans cling to him, because they don't want to accept that drafting him was such an error. It shouldn't be so hard:

4th: Russell Westbrook
5th: Kevin Love

Even Gallanari (6th) and Eric Gordon (7th) would be helpful.

We took Beasley.

HE SUCKS. No... Don't argue. Accept. We **** up. He really does suck.

Let him go.

I have a dreadful feeling anyone we would have drafted would have been ruined.

Spo to Westbrook..."the way you played in college, you going to have to change it to play in the NBA. i need you to dribble past half court and give the ball to dwyane, then go wait in the corner for an open 3pt. also, when dwyane stays arguing with the ref you'll have to guard 2 guys"...

Bingo, we would have ruined everyone. We as an organization have a low regard for the draft and scouting and it shows. Westbrook would have been a disaster. Love with his lack of defense would have seen less playing time than Beasley. Mayo was not that good of a player and Wade would be forced to play PG. We have issues developing players.

I don't buy that. The cream always rises to the top. Wade is a great example. Beasley is who he is because of his own doing, nothing to do with Miami not developing him.

Beasley is one of the biggest busts in NBA history, and worst of all, he just doesn't seem to care about that. He has ZERO competitiveness in him.

He just isn't that good and he had every chance to succeed in Minnesota and Phoenix and he failed there, as well.

He just has so many flaws in his game, and in addition to those weaknesses, there are the well-documented issues about his off-court behavior and his immaturity.

Now, I did think that Wade crushed his confidence as a rookie when he kept signalling to the bench to take him out of games after growing frustrated with Beasley, but looking back, it's hard to blame Dwyane for being frustrated with him given what a horrible basketball IQ Beasley has. (Ira revealed this info several years ago)

- Bad basketball IQ

- Bad defensive-awareness

- Selfish on offense

- Soft

He's not that good.

If Michael Beasley joins the team I will cheer hard for him, but he wouldn't be my first choice. If Spoelstra & Riley thinks he adds to the team who am I to protest? Besides last year his defense was much improved!

He is like Deion Sanders splitting time between leagues.

Good man.

Trump has no idea what he's doing and pandering to the lowest common denominator voter, the uneducated baboon who thinks ISIS is going to nuke the U.S. (among a laundry list of other dumb things).

Please get out and vote during your states primaries. Hilary is dumb as hell and is pandering to old people and stubborn feminists

I wonder for whom Mr. Beasley would vote. I read his Twitter back to 2011 (when he started), and he appears to live outside of politics. This is pretty common among athletes, artists, and many others. Politics sometimes seems like a sideshow, and that's one reason a reality tv star can be so successful.

Spoiler:
Though I have many disagreements with Hillary Clinton, I acknowledge that she is intelligent and the evidence is weighty. Have you ever had to give testimony or taken questions about a project? She did that for hours against a hostile Congress. Make no mistake. That lady has ice water blood.

My principal disagreement with her has to do with corporate intrusion in American politics. Here politicians are bought and sold like any common merchandise. It's not an American invention, but here it has been perfected. Sanders reminds me of a haywire Doc Green that abandoned the lab. It takes a lot of courage to run against the grain, and he has found a huge group of disenfranchised voters (most of us are young, though there are plenty - like me - who are just tired of hearing well-trodden bad ideas.) Nevertheless, I have serious doubts that he can broaden his electoral base. It is fun to watch however.

I do agree with the sentiment about getting out and vote, but the action of voting isn't enough. In Brazil, you are required to vote unless you prove a valid excuse. Our voter turnout is over 75%, meaning we have far more voters than America:

http://www.idea.int/vt/countryview.cfm?CountryCode=BR

I wish we could say we've done better, but our apathy is monumental.

Our politicians are owned, and most become politicians to enrich themselves. Corruption is rampant. It is expected. Any time you have to deal with the government you must bribe them. This has the side-effect of ludicrous stories (like beating a traffic ticket by giving a policeman a bottle of wine - I've done this), which may sound fun, but any law becomes liquid.

All of us are to blame. America would do well to avoid such a sad fate.
