If we were to trade these 3 plus get a pick in return and keep Dragic, that’d be huge. Dragic off the bench could be huge. Dragic’s expiring could also help salary match on a trade for another star later in this season.

We’d probably have the best bench in the league or close to it if dragic stays.

the dude is just playing the odds. knows there’s virtually no other team that can take CP. Is aware talks are still ongoing. is aware the Hou OKC deal hasnt closed yet. Knows CP3 wants to be here. Frankly, outside of waiting half a year for LA its Miami or nothing for Paul. It’s fair to assume Presti doesnt want to keep the sideshow going for that long. so this is a good bet considering “insiders” really have nothing to lose and everything to gain if they’re right
