But in theory it should work. They are not the greatest 3 point shooting team. Clogging the middle will make LeBron very uncomfortable to work around.

Make them turn the ball over and we'll give ourselves a good chance

We need the Dragon and Enrique Iglesias’ Herro to ball out.

You're welcome LeBron.

Tyler Herro is a TURD.
Bam is NOT elite but is getting better.
Fire Spoelstra!
Josh Heupel is coming for you.

Just looked at the regular szn game stats (2 games) and we did get out rebounded pretty badly.

1st game Heat 37 LA 48 = -11 (L final score 80-95)

2nd game Heat 34 LA 50 = -16 (L final score 110-113)

We committed a lot less TOs to keep the game close (esp. in 2nd game) but it's very hard to win when they get 16 more rebounds than us. Obviously we're playing much better basketball than when we faced them in the regular season, but Spo does have a lot of work to do. We can't just simply play our game against LAL like we did against the Celtics imo

Are Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Tyler Herro and Derrick Jones going to be afraid to attack the basket? Have we been following the same team? In case you have forgotten, I leave you this reminder:

We can play uptempo or any style and Spoelstra is the best at making those adjustments. I know Miami has something special up its sleeve just for this moment. If LeBron gets frustrated after the first two games, we're going to win the mind games for the rest of the series.

I want us to steal this ring away from LeBron to make up for the one LeBron pissed away against JJ Barea while making fun of Dirk playing with the flu.

We can recreate a lot of the things the Warriors did against LeBron and still add our own ingredients to the recipe. The NBA Championship Trophy Larry O'Brien already has a home in South Beach.

Well i dont know what to call Jimmy's passive play for most of the series, and i have seen Bam not attacking when he has an Embiid guarding the Rim, I would love for that to stop and attack and put the pressure in the Refs, but lets be honest here, they do not operate very smoothly when you have a quality big guarding the paint. Hopefully this series will be different.

Defense in the modern NBA walks on the perimeter, not the basket. All the Lakers centers will be useless against us. Our shooters will eat them alive and LA will be forced to play small.

Every Heat play off game I watched, the Heat lost.
Every game I waited until the 4th quarter to watch, the Heat won.

Guess I'm not watching the start of any of these games boys.

As a Warriors fan I fully expect Iguodala to step up his intensity this series. Obviously isn't stopping LeBron, but Iggy is a huge factor in guarding LA's supporting cast.

From what I've seen from Iggy in the past, he coasts in the regular season, tries a bit in the Playoffs, then turns up his intensity come Finals time. Despite his age, he's been able to maximize and extend his effectiveness this way. And this season he's been resting the entire regular season so he'll be able to really go all out this last series. I'm excited for the Heat.

dont know about this guy's talent, but i can tell he doesnt get pushed around like weak Kelly does, he scrapes and fights, i like him

I will say S.Hill got himself in top notch shape during these last months.

Not sure if will translate to actually helping.

just first impression thoughts :

1. Key is making LBJ a jump shooter. He runs hot and cold, but you can't panic and let him drive. Once he's in the paint it's over for the defense, he'll find the open guys or finish himself. MAKE HIM A SHOOTER. If he nails enough of them, you tip your hat.

2. Don't let AD and LBJ live on the FT line. free throws really up their efficiency, we can't make tic tac fouls. stay focused.

3. Got to hit our 3's. That's our biggest advantage, we need to exploit it.

4. Don't get killed inside. LA is a huge team. Box out, play Kelly/Leonard if we must. We can't get outrebounded by 20.

If we can focus on these 4 point We have a real fighting chance.

Hopefully we can hit our outside shots, otherwise it will get ugly really fast.
