After a dust-up in the paint with Jae Crowder, with both players fighting for position, both Davis and Crowder fell to the ground. Then when both players were getting up, Davis appears to hit Crowder in the face with a backhand slap. It was definitely not a basketball play and appeared to be a premeditated hostile act, which would in theory make it a Flagrant 2 by the book, which would result in a suspension.

LOL NO

Spoiler:
he should be but they won't. if they didn't catch him in the game stuff like this rarely escalates to suspension. if they didn't suspend Morris on Luka you think they do anything to AD on Crowder in NBA Finals game 6? NBA would just say they couldn't be 100% certain that was a premeditated hostile act :dontknow:

Spoiler:
Jae is a man for not flopping after that scum attack. may bball god bless him with hot hot hoooot from3

I kind of want hobbled AD playing in game 6 and 7 anyways. BBQ chicken for Butler all day unless he's 100%.

LeBron looks like he has nothing to do with Butler. I've never seen him switch so quickly when he's on Butler lol

There is no one who can defend Butler on the Lakers. sheesh

Butler is the perfect mix of a really cool dude and a little crazy person. LOL

The perfect guy to go to a war, dark woods, Jason's cabin and so forth with.

DRob gained his swag last night. He's rarely emotionally in it like he was. I loved the fire he showed. He has to get a little pissed and be willing to fight back. He's the best shooter left in the playoffs. Keep proving it.

If the Lakers are going to try to play dirty and hurt our players to try to beat us. We need to empty the rest of the players on our bench and send them after the whole laker team on the court. We can't let them get away with that, especially knowing the ref's are not going to do anything about it. In fact I got a feeling we're going to get jobbed over really hard this next game by the refs.

The one thing that is going to be a problem is the Lakers complaining about officiating. They're not used to playing a full game without benefiting from AD and Lebron flopping for foul calls. AD is the most egregious. He gets so many bailouts where he will play himself into a bad spot, then flail and get a call. He's a bit of a bitch concerning that. You start giving two special players bail out calls and the game shifts dramatically.

Yup. Imagine both going to the foul line 10-12 times. That's minimum 10-12 fouls (definitely more) and we're playing 7 man rotation and injured Bam being the only big. Sheesh newly moved pharmacist

It's going to be raining free throws for LA next game. Hope our guys come out with the right mindset. They've got to attack the whole game. Everyone. They all have to have their heads right. The Lakers are the villains. They are the polluters of the Earth. If we don't stop them, who will? We can't hold anything back, or be hesitant. We must bury them.

In other news, I'm a pharmacist by day, a doggie door installer by night. Just installed my first one! Phucked it up a bit though. My saw jumped on my final cut....now I've got to put in some wood filler, sand and paint...ugh. Looks good, regardless. My lab loves it. She thought it was Christmas.

Jimmy's been so admirable for lack of a better word. He's going toe to toe with LeBron on offense while being guarded by DPOY caliber 7 foot mutant AD. On the other end he's defending LeBron and going all over the place for his depleted team. LeBron is on Bam, Rob, Jae Crowder, just floating around out there taking breaks. It's like Last Samurai where Jimmy is Tom Cruise fighting for his life with a sword and LeBron and AD are douche shoguns with auto machine guns taking turns shooting honorable samurais.

You can't make this chit up. Jimmy is hands down the best player on the court and deserved to be rewarded with a ring.

Yeah, Iggs. He's been an amazing all around player. I go to the GB, and they're basing their player rankings on the regular season, and the consistency it takes to perform at a high level, during the REGULAR SEASON. They minimize the impact JB is having, as his contributions only come during a small sample size. The most important part of the season, yet the small sample size. Against the best teams in the league, yet the small sample size. In the highest pressure situations, yet the small sample size.

Who gives a flying phuck about the regular season, when the MVP and DPOY gets knocked out in the 2nd round, and a 5th seed makes the Finals? It doesn't matter. It only matters that you get in. The regular season is practice. It's figuring out your rotations, and seeing what works. Getting a chip is all that matters. Not who gets Executive of the Year.

i feel like the heat are going into game 6 with a new outlook on this series. They been given new life. Theres a reason why the lakers wore those mamba jerseys, they fully expected this series to be over in 5. The heat are the only team in the playoffs so far to challenge the lakers like this and whether the lakers admit to it or not, facts are AD will be playing injured and on a bad ankle. I noticed nunn is starting to catch a rhythym, we should find him some looks early and get him going.. He seem to really effect the outcome of game 5. It is annoying watching the lakers whine for calls all game, very frustrating but the heat have to weather the storm and continue on...

Crowder had some rough stretches last game, hope the door is open to limiting his mins if it comes to it

Even take the hit defensively and give Kelly some mins when either Robinson/Herro sits
Long Live Winnie. Mamba siempre

Off topic, but as a Canes fan, I loathe Clemson.

Return to Miami Heat
