Ingram is a dumb rumor. He has a 30 million dollar contract we can't match anymore unless the Pels plan on paying Duncan something close to that neighborhood with no guarantee Duncan even wants to play for the Pels. DeRozan on the other hand is there for the taking.

Duncan for close to 20, Nunn for 8, and we throw in KZ?

Derozen isn't a 3 point shooter. If Bam isn't have a shot yet then you talk about 3 non shooters in your lineup. Too easy to defend that. We need a scorer that is a threat from everywhere.

Maybe they start Herro and bring DeRozan in as the 6th man to play 2-4.

Your big move of the summer that should bring you to a championship cant be to bring in a 6th man and a 36 year old point guard for damn near 60 million per year.

Not saying I love it. Just trying to make sense of it all. I also think it's a terrible idea to play DeRozan at the 4 spot. Hopefully this rumor is not true. If it is the only viable spot I see for him is playing heaving minutes off the bench.

It's part of the reason I never liked the Jimmy/Bam Combo as a foundation - every other key piecse you add HAS TO be an ELITE 3 shooter to cover for their total lack of shooting.

Derozen had a great year, he looked really good. But you can't win with 3 non shooters are your 3 key guys today.

He is a great player. Absolutely. I agree... he just wouldn't fit.

I just don't see the fit - Jimmy + Bam + Derozen could have worked in 1991.

You can't have 3 non shooters in your starting 5 today. Plus we'll be small as hell.

Maybe we can get a knock down shooter stretch 4?
