Eh that wont make me lose any sleep. Besides, i have doubts boston is in any position to add another major contract especially with Tatum’s contract extension coming up. They would be at record setting tax problems.

Sucks we didn’t get Dame. That was Jimmy and Bams chance at a ring. I don’t see anyone else out there we can get that would make us contenders. As it currently stands, we got Bucks/Celtics/76ers as the conference contenders. Then Miami/Cavs/Knicks fighting for that 4th-play in spot.

We are not doing anything this season, some will push back I know, but we aren’t. Make no mistake about it, we missed out on a possible ring by not getting Dame. Possible because it wasn’t guaranteed. What is guaranteed now tho is that we are back to treadmill status

Say what you want about Heat not making a move. But we haven't been treadmill in Butler era. 2 finals, 3 ECF finals that's a contender. For sure Bucks would be favs next season and then Celts, but Heat would the 3rd team after those two. Depending on seeding Heat can find themselves in ECF again. But they'll have to take regular season seriously go for the no 1 seed.
I'm not gonna dismiss this team next season, they've proven they have heart and can beat teams with better talent

there it is right there. one thing i learned about this whole fiasco is how easily people are manipulated by tweets and talking heads pushing a narrative instead of thinking objectively. Adam silver got involved who works for the billionaire owners that said nah shut that shyt down. we were attacked from all angles so im not going to jump on the pat hate bandwagon when they wouldnt even talk to us. see what the youngins can give us and let Herro prove he is the Future with Bam.

This is the weakness of going after whales and trying to use leverage as a real asset, you sometimes don't get the guys you could get but you also don't lose trades. There's pluses and minuses for each approach of acquiring talent.
