Money, with the new TV deal coming it's a new item they can bill for.

It's going to be really hard to watch these games with the courts. I get the idea of dramatically changing the courts to signify this money grab tourney but holy **** is it hard to watch a game.

Read on Twitter
yeah that looks really bad. i still dont get the money grab part unless its tied up with the gambling par.....ohh

They're trying to force a tourneyy down people's throats so the media has something else to talk about other then game 7. The play-in had a purpose and a nice result for the league, this really doesn't do anything but they'll try to find something to make it worth people watching.

I don't even know if I can even stand to look at any of these courts much, I'm glad I cancelled my NBA League Pass.

He mentioned the trade deadline in his post game interview.

Us fans can see they have a number of players that should be getting time that they won't get, I'm sure the players see that too, it could be something to that effect.

As a Heat fan for nearly 30 years, I can honestly say that I’m a little tired of hearing about it, but putting on a jersey is next level corny.

Yeah, they're really looking to monetize everything in the last few years, adding advertising on clothing, NBA League Pass this year has a bunch of forced adds you can't skip that you can pay extra to get rid of. Back to streaming games off the internet for me.

It's odd, they're making TONS of money but it's not enough, they have to degrade the product to make more money.

I get it from a tv rights perspective. The NBA is trying to make more money. From a fan perspective, we are watching teams play regular games that don’t have any real meaning, for more money. No real stakes.

Also, if we have a court as ugly as that Indians court, then god help us.

It's going to be a rough watch, I may barely watch any of these games on these Tourney courts. Thought that was a Chicago Bulls court at first.

Watching the Knicks game to kill some time and woooooo buddy.

Our court might look a special kind of terrible if it’s anything like the Bucks’.

We haven't lost 5 in a row in the Jimmy Butler Heat era. This should be a dub.

Not as ugly as the Indy court, but still hard on the eyes.

It's not good, not at all but it doesn't hurt my eyes looking at it.

Knew Haywood would start.

Hopefully Jovic gets burn but I won’t hold my breath.
