I had to look up their last 10 seasons just to see how far they've fallen. Lost in the 1st round 3x, lost in the semis once, missed the playoffs altogether 6x including 5 of the last 6 years. And it's not like they haven't had any good players or picks in the top half of the draft, just goes to show you the importance of infrastructure.

The momentum swing this season was Butler deciding to give a damn. Last playoffs is fair discussion. But we can't pin the poor start to Herro. To start season Butler was actively a negative player and now he's a MVP player.

I think a wing of this fanbase just does not like nice things. Most fanbases would be licking their chops to get one of their better players back in the mix.
