Careful comparing, two #2 options in their respective teams, to a player now coming into possibly a #3 or #4 option on somedays depending on if Jimmy wants to show up. I don't expect Terry to be able to put up those numbers here, however I do expect the efficiency to be increased, and the perhaps the assist to be maintained or increased due to being surrounded by a better cast.

Ya I'm not really comparing, just found it a funny tweet considering Brown is this like what a $300M + man now

Just Bammy and MWP trying to trade some combination or Herro or Robinson for toothpicks while rationalizing their hate toward Tyler Skywalker Herro and Duncan Kenobi.

There’s no argument for Terry to not be the 1st option and have the ball in his hands to play make a ton until Jimmy decide he’s interested in playing

We get a big stretch 4 who's played in this system already for much less then Duncan and his money is off the books next year and we'll have bird rights to most likely sign for a dirt cheap Kevin Love type contract or some type of room exception.

I suspect that Spo would only use Olynyk in the playoffs if all else fails.

Duncan however would likely get regular rotation minutes.

Is there enough interest in Tyler from Utah where we could send Tyler there and whatever draft capital we could generate from that to send to Atlanta for Murray?

Miami sends Tyler to Utah for Olynek and 1 or two firsts
Miami sends Martin to Atlanta who should opt out as expiring.

Utah sends THT to Atlanta as the rest of the expiring to make the money work

Atlanta of course sends us Murray

Is that a good foundation to work from or should we look for something different?

Probably not. Think that ship has sailed. They are really going to see this backcourt out. If any move is done it's not going to be a polarizing one like dealing Herro.

Gotcha… But he’s the only one who could generate draft capital and provide cap relief at the same time. Right? I feel you though. I think they’ll make small moves around the edges for now.

It’s just the framework to get Murray to Miami and generate draft capital and cap relief from Tyler to use in the deal. I didn’t lay out all the picks Atlanta would get, but we would use some of the picks from Utah to send to Atlanta.

If I am sending Tyler Herro to Utah I want Lauri Markkanen in return, screw getting KO and filler. Throw the remaining pick or two get the PF we need next to Bam, role out there. Terry, Duncan, Jimmy, Lauri, Bam....talk about complementing each other, lots of 3pt shooting, spacing, playmaking and size.

It’s not filler. It’s Dejounte Murray & KO.

No I understood all that, I just dont understand the purpose in Dejounte Murray if we just acquired Terry Rozier. Some of these trade concepts I can't tell if people are actually trying to make this team better or just making trades for the sake of making trades.

Would this team not be better if Terry was our sixth man and Murray was the starter? Wouldn’t we be in a better position financially now saving $4 or 5 million? Wouldn’t that be enough to allow us to get buyout candidates? Wouldn’t KO’s expiring help us next year? I’m not sure how much but I’m sure we’d be able to make something happen.

I love Pat. I don't know how you can watch these clips and think he's lost it or is "senile" or whatever. He has that edge to him still. He's still a bad mofo and has that aura about him.
