NO is supposedly keen on not playing a traditional center next to Zion so Allen wouldn’t fit the bill there if that’s indeed the case.

I’m wondering Jvals value on the open market this summer. Has he approached the elite vet minimum signing portion of his career or is that still a few years away? He could be a massive pickup, at minimum for our bench. Great size with decent shooting

Be careful eating up some of these elaborate twitter trades. Luckily we can make a dollar for dollar deal work for Spida.

Under the new CBA, teams over the first apron will now also be limited to just matching salaries in trades to 100% of their outgoing money, while non-taxpayer teams can make the math worth within 125%. In short, teams can't take in more money than they're trading

Damn, would hurt to see Jaime and Niko in another jersey not gonna lie. But at the end of the day, it’s about chips and whatever gets us closer to a chip.

Let’s see what happens.

I’ve come to my conclusion on the Cavs trade players wise, I’ll let them work out the assets.

To the Heat:

Mitchell
Dean
Levert

To the Cavs:

Herro
Terry
Jaime
Orlando

Mitchell/Wright
Duncan/Jrich
Jimmy/Levert
Dean/Jovic
Bam/Vet signing

Like terry a lot but he isn’t going to work here imo, this lineup is a great mix. You have low usage high impact guys next to your 3 stars in the starting lineup then you have a great mix of scoring, shooting, playmaking, and defense with the 2nd unit. Cuts $1.6M for us as well

Mitchell's agent should learn from what happened last year with Dame saga, no need to make this ugly.

Just work with Altman/Gilbert and he would be here. Riles would certainly keep one of Jovic or Jaime.

Yes. Would be a great minimum scoop. We will be working the vet minimum market heavily

Exactly. Everyone play this cool and work in good faith. Riles probably wants to keep JJJ but someone has already leaked Jaime so i have to assume Herro and JJJ were leaked for a very good reason. Keeping Jovic for us actually makes more sense because he’ll need to continue his progression as the starting 4.

Assuming the interest is real instead of trolling us, if they want Jovic they get him and JJJ and the picks.

It took 1 report for my guy MWP to completely change his agenda and stance on a Mitchell trade, I love it

Let’s hope they can finally pull through for us this summer

I wouldn’t over pay for someone that will be a free agent soon. Specially when I think Jimmy’s wheels are about to fall off.

Dame/Jimmy had a two year window imo. We didn’t get Dame but that clock is still ticking on Jimmy.

Sometimes that’s all it takes to open one’s eyes. You start seeing reports about Gilbert taking a more hands on stance and that’s when deals like this get done because then it becomes more about business instead of GM analytics and all that crap.

We crap on Herro but the truth of the matter is the kid is a marketable piece locked into a long term deal. So is JJJ for that matter and even more so now that he won rookie honors. All this stuff matters to a small market team like Cleveland. It wouldn’t shock me if Mitchell spoke to the Cavs front office and talked about coming here and they leaked a basis for a deal to start getting our attention.

Funny how Herro was supposed to be with Utah in the previous deal but now will find himself heading to the Cavs. Crazy how things can come full circle.

They 100% leaked Herro and Jaime or used us as the example for a reason

Wouldn’t say a legit report but they leaked what they want from Miami in a Mitchell trade through one of their local reporters, Jaime Herro and picks

I am looking for Run it back twice as hard, that should get us at a minimum 4th seed per my calculations. We didn't get a chance to enjoy this team fully healthy with a full offseason, and newly acquired Rozier finally learning our offense. This will finally be the year we put it all together.
