My guy Nikola Topic also looking pretty awful these past few SL games. Maybe the Euro boys need a little time to adjust.

Also the high IQ passing limited athleticism types guards don't tend to shine in the mess that is summer league.

If your 3's aren't falling and you're not athlete, you're doomed.

I wouldn’t worry too much Mod Wilts. The success rate for Nikolas in the league is very high. (I did a bunch of research to come to that conclusion.)

Joan of Arco, Minnesota - 7 blks (S.L. record)
Rob Dillingham - 4/14 FG. looked awful

I played AAU one time and had to swing on the coach. That was long time ago, but I am not surpise that the coaching in AAU is still a problem.

No natter what happens with Jaime, he will likely always be a better pick than the JHS pick right before his selection.

Watching the Hornets summer league game…

This has to be said… Kneuppel being drafted at number 4 is why the Hornets are the Hornets…

And hes having a very good summer league.. he will always be a roleplayer at best..

I am not high on players like Herro, Reeves, etc.. just not enough in their bag nor the athleticism for me to give a damn

Kneuppel cant shake off anyone, they stay in front of him easily. His first step is slow..

He got drafted higher than Maluach… goodness gracious… kon may have a long career but he is a roleplayer at best

Ace Bailey shouldve been the pick.. im not looking at a Kon type till after the lottery

Even with scouting and technology at the point it is today, there are still mistakes and poor decisions.

Charlotte draft board was Character>Talent. They have had too many immature personalities on the team and wanted to get some high character guys to balance the culture. I called it before the draft. All their picks follow that trend. They are going in a different direction to stabilize the organization. The good thing is the focus wont be on Kon and he can be the connecting piece between their other playmakers.

You see the trend in their pics.
Kon Knueppel (No. 4), Liam McNeeley (No. 29), Sion James (No. 33), and Ryan Kalkbrenner (No. 34)
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

…..with the 4th pick overall…….. like really… trade down if youre not looking to get lucky with a generational talent.. we took Wade with the fifth pick… ace bailey was right there for you.. you have to take a chance at a generational talent…

Yesterday from what i saw in kneuppel, i didnt see anything different than something Reeves would do… thats his ceiling… and everyone that guarded him stayed in front without a problem… he got some open shots in… because he took 21 shot attempts…… he is not getting 21 shot attempts with lamelo and Miller..

whats he going to do against a real nba defensive player with length like wiggins, or bridges, locks in on him? Absolutely nothing..

We are living in a time warp.. bob Cousy, pistol pete types are making a comeback to the nba.. no wonder ratings are so low…

Just to add to my rant.. imagine if Riley selected Kirk Hinrich instead of Wade………. And he loved Hinrich…

You dont draft Kneuppel types in the lottery
