Ok, but he also ran our offense in the 4th that put us up.

We have players that look outright scared of the basket, Herro is very low on the heartbreak meter

It was a teachable moment too. Herro will learn from the experience and get even better. I really enjoyed the team's reaction tonight. I thought we were apathetic at first, but the second half was ours. We showed up. This was my favorite Oladipo game. He looks like he can make a massive contribution to the playoff run.

It was impressive. When Lowry is in control, the team flourishes.

Toronto and poor defense don't go together. That team is tough. Dipo just had himself a game.

Not usually but they may have had an off night defensively. Glad to hear it was more him than them, though.

Good win for the short handed Heat against Toronto and the officials.

Yeah, no disrespect to Toronto at all. The Raptors are a tough draw in the playoffs. Barnes is legit. Siakam and VanVleet are playing at top form again. Their defense is solid and with OG Anunoby they are even tougher.

It was over 3 years ago (Jan 2019) when Oladipo had a scary fall trying to defend Siakam in transition and ended up having a leg injury that would change his career forever.

Last night was the best basketball I’ve seen Dipo play since then. As a guy that’s been a big fan of him since his Hoosiers days, it was a joy to see him ball out last night. He looked fantastic, from the throw down slam to the nasty step back 3 on Barnes.
Guy is such a hard worker and I hope he stays healthy the rest of the way. A healthy Dipo makes this Heat team even scarier, as he can provide a huge boost on both ends of the floor.

Good game. Heat/Raps battles are always fun & entertaining.

Great win, everyone besides duncan contributed but that’s nothing new.

Loved what we saw from Dipo, that’s just an elite scoring package all around. He 100% earned his rotation spot tonight. He should play over Duncan and Gabe but it’ll likely be Gabe.

Not ready to say that Dipo is back after just one good game. The talent may be there, but the chemistry is not just yet. Gabe will prove more valuable come playoff time when the offense bogs down and floor spacing is much needed. Wouldn’t mind seeing him used as an injury fill-in like he was today tho. He seemed to have an extra bit of motivation because of it

Also, I would like to see Caleb get robinsons spot in the rotation as long as he can stay healthy/find his offense again

Of course. Cuz the other 50 wins he coached were just lucky. Likely no 1 seed in East and 3rd best record overall, just pure luck.

Spobotto v.2.5.1 is consistent if not imperfect.

lol can't make argument so we making up names

Only in a fantazy world we can assume our record is due to Spo being a great coach.

So its because of what ?
Some ya'll anti-Spoers are kinda ridiculous. You go out of your way to discredit anything he does. Bam and Butler all missed over 20 games and we still no 1 seed and you got players likers Caleb, Struss, Yurt , Gabe who we didn't think were rotational players at start of the season all contributing but coaching had nothing to do with it.
It's a fact this is a great regular season. It's a fact Spo coached a great season and he should be in the coach of year discussion.

The playoffs are different matter. There are fair questions whether small ball will work against Bucks or Sixers. But that remains to be seen. The playoffs will be judge differently. Its hard to have a fair discussion on Spo when some you won't accept positive facts about what he's done.

There’s about 4-5 of them in a little cult. Anti-Spo, Bam, Jimmy while being pro Herro & Yurt. It’s the weirdest thing lol. Why not just be happy for everyone and realize it’s a collective effort to secure the 1st seed. Were crying about switching (I agree it needs to be tinkered in certain matchups) while we’re a top 4 defense in the league. We have a top 6 net rating in the league with the current group and our coaches schemes.

Spo played a major role, Jimmy played a major role, Bam played a major role, Herro played a major role, Yurt has helped at times, Duncan **** sucks, etc.

its because of players, not this coach. Did you forget the reason this android gave Yurt some playing time? or should i remind you, it was because both bam and Dedmond were injured, so unless you agree with his same ridiculous rotations we should have played Gabe Vincent as a starting center. The fact is Spo is a medicre coach and we will always be at a tremendous disavantage as long as he is at the helm.

You guys are some damn clowns. I’ve posted the facts, numbers, opinions of elite players, coaches, executives, etc. but if heat down under disagrees it’s wrong

You guys who hate Spo all band together so of course you all think you’re in the right

He was voted a top 15 coach ever. I promise you the experts and voters who decided that collectively know more than you and Heat down under. Just like all those opinions on Bam lol. Say what you want on this forum and preach like you all are right but the people who actually do this stuff for a living know far more lol
