Ok Guys I've got some updates: Sauccee Nuggets time.

What I was told, There are 2 seperate 3 team frameworks put together.
Framework, 1 is with Brooklyn With Herro heading there. (Portland is still not sold on it, they are adament about getting Nurk going out, however neither Miami or Brooklyn is willing to absorb.
Framework, 2 is with San Antonio, however its different, SA has enticed Portland taking their young guards for 2 FRP's & 3 SRP's, with Portland then keeping Herro in the deal. This is something that they are starting to munch on, they like the picks from SA, plus Herro works since they are sending out their guards.

Philly has an offer in but still unwilling to use Maxie in the trade, also it sounds like Philly is working on a bigger deal with LA Clippers at the moment and aren't as aggressive as other teams.

Rumor is LA Lakers, and Boston would be willing to put in a all or nothing trade package only if Damian Lillard gives them assurances, which is isn't which has pissed off Portland's FO that Lillard isn't cooperating on that front.

The last thing he said, was Miami is still in pursuit as aggressive as ever looking for a possible 4 team Framework to allow Nurk to get absorbed elsewhere, Miami may need to unlock OKC's pick to use this to have somebody help take on the Nurk Deal. They aren't having much luck yet, and everyone is taking advantage knowing Miami is very much looking to get Lillard, so their asking for too much value to help.

This may come down to who blinks first Miami is running out of options, to satisfy Portland's request, at this time they have exhausted any variation of three teamer swap known to man unless a team raises their hand at the last minute.

Soft power means squat here if we are being honest. Portland is not a hot free agent destination. How they treat Dame won't have any impact on future free agents. Does anyone honestly think player X 5 years from today will be like " oh no I wont go to Portland because of what they did to Dame" Under different locations and situations one can make an argument, not a good one but an argument for "soft power" this is not one of those situations.



At the end of the day this is the owner of the Blazers. Do you honestly think she give a rats ass about what Dame wants, especially after she perceives him to betray the team as a traitor. If one has ever dealt with a Karen in real life you know where this is going. She is the one that will decide when this is over unfortunately for us. It wont be hard to get Portland to treat Dame and his family worse that Vince Carter if he does really sit out. If Dame has any common sense left he sells his house and moves his family asap.

If I remember correctly at one point she kind of turned Dame's opinions down in a meeting or for a meeting about changes/decisions the franchise should make. Don't quote me on that though. I'll see if I can dig it up on Google. If it is true then she definitely doesn't have that connection to Dame.

He requested a meeting to talk about coaches and players he would like to play with.. she basically said youre a player, we are the owners, you dont have an opinion on this.. and then when that came out public, to save face she offered him his current supermax and put out a statement on how important he is to the city..


But she surely showed her true colors.. Paul Allen was a lot more respectful to players. She sees them as employees.

It is what it is.. cant blame the Heat for this theyre ready to make the deal right now. If portland ends up trading him to some random ass team its gonna be hard to recover from that as an organization. Sure theyre still gonna be able sign players because no one is going to turn down millions but good luck trying to sign anyone on Liliards level.. you may be able to get some deals like Houston did with FVV and Brooks.. those sre the kind of signings they have in their immediate future

A high possibility (IMO) is that Portland is going to grant Lillard his request but have to make it look like they are indeed getting the best package for their fans so Lillard, Portland's franchise and their fans all win. This doesn't mean Portland just gives in and sends Lillard to Miami but are pretty sure Miami is the only team they're really going to trade with but also listen to other offers.

I wouldn't go that far lol. It's not like we have clean hands here. If anything knowing Pat he is the one that planted the idea to only put the Heat as his destination.

Portland will do what is best for them. Even in the proposed situation, it's not realistic even in the best of circumstances that someone like Dame would ever sign there so its a moot point. Remember at the end of the day, this is the person we are dealing with. People in power will do things out of spite because they can. At this point we give in to whatever they want or they will do what they think is best in the teams interest.


If Dame has any ounce of common sense he sells his house and moves his family asap. That town will turn so fast against him if he really does "sit out".

Thomas Bryant looked like he was going to be soldi/good in Washington before suffering a partial ACL tear.

The interesting part about Bryant is that his rate of scoring since age 22 has been hovering around 19 points per36 outside the first 1/2 year after the injury and his time backing up Jovic last year for 18 games.

Bryant started a decent size of games for LAL and Den last year (26 games) where in 26.2 minutes he put up...
14.1 pts, 8.4 rebs and a TS% of .689 with a calculated offensive rating of 132 and defensive rating of 116.
Bryant also took 59 3s last year hitting 26 of them for a 44% 3pt%... 45 were wide open, 12 open, 2 tight making 1 of the 2. So he has the ability to hit 3s if not guarded which should help the spacing.
