It was on both Spo and Bam tbh, which is very disappointing. You almost expect a Duncan or Rozier to **** it up.

It was on Spo for the timeout and even having Rozier in the game. And it was on Bam for his defense on that play (not to mention not being able to just catch the ball and dunk it the play before). But he should have been playing goalie/rim protector to begin with. The big that he was on cannot shoot, did not need to be guarded that close with 2 secs left.

I’m talking about them getting the ball after the technical free throw that put them up

Bam had to guard 2 people because Rozier did not stick with his man.

Realistically one of the assistants is tracking timeouts. They either told Spo they had no timeouts and Spo forget or they told Spo the wrong information. Spo will take and accept the blame in the post game because ultimately it is on him, but I'd be curious to know if he had the information and forget or was told the incorrect information.

Not a mistake you can make in the NBA.

Need a high IQ ball handler next to Herro.

I can almost guarantee you the person (whoever tf he was) that ended up dunking the ball was NOT Rozier's man.

And even if you want to say it was a switch, where is Bam's defensive awareness? You see that break to the rim, you adjust. No, we are not going to let him skate on both offense AND defense now. I mean goodness.

He took the accountability in the post game and said he got emotional and forgot they didn't have a timeout in the moment.

Mistakes at the end......

Herro played a terrific game, but he went early. He usually does.

We guarded the inbounder. Not only did we do that, we had t-rex Herro on the inbounder providing no real pressure.

Defensive mistake. We just won with a screen like that.

Obviously the timeout.

Like Spo knew he messed up and it was a brain lapse, but we had so many chances to win this game.

Our 25 draft pick is playing against Kentucky right now. Tune in.

I’m very happy with Herros early season, weak defender but I’ve always said if that’s going to be the case then he has to score with high efficiency, which we’re now seeing.

You all have let 10 games erase 5 years of mediocrity from your minds though, hopefully he keeps it up but he’s had stretches like this before.

It seemed like he got mad at the defense and did his angry storming of the court. I 100% believe he forgot.

What a crazy start to the year tho. Herro looking like a franchise player on the way to All Star game. And Highsmith becoming our best defensive player. He’s got my DPOY vote.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?
