Watching Herro since his return one of the reason his chemistry with the team is weak, is his lack of off ball movement. He is rarely cutting or runnning hard backdoor. He is standing wing and above floating. Off ball movement and ball movement is why Jaquez impacts the team so well.
The Heat have to get more versatility out of Herro on offense.

The future has arrived. 2026 is going to be a banger.

Oh no..his impact is being fully felt. Miami is absolutely **** with him on the court. On both ends.

Wes Goldberg said that Herro was being targeted in the 4th on defense yet said the matchup was bad for Ware….
Theres some truth in that.
Spo might lose Ware, or maybe already has….
If a little tough love is enough to lose Ware he wasn’t worth it in the first place tbh

If Mia winds up doing the Ja trade for expirings and Kas, they also must move one of Herro and Norm in a separate deal to get on ball defenders. No way around it.
My Kawhi dream is vanishing as the LAC keeps winning (4 in a row and now tied for 10th), and I know some of us are holding our breath until we're blue in the face for Giannis, but the pivot I'd like to see is to hit up one or both of OKC and New Orleans who have several players of interest.

Bucks schedule leading up to the deadline:
@Hawks
Vs Thunder
Vs Nuggets
Vs Mavs
@Sixers
@Wizards
@Celtics
Vs Bulls
Vs Pelicans
3-6 stretch here would make things very interesting the day before the deadline, if something doesn’t shake before then

It's still all Herro's fault.

Free agency is dead yet we keep playing this game that these high end stars will pass up the bag and risk injury playing out final year. That chit just does not happen anymore.

Unfortunately this might be what’s needed but also what the Heat would never do. I’d take it a step further and trade Herro before he stacks more seasons of being injury prone, and Bam before he’s 30 in 2028 and 95% of the players the Heat were hoping were free agents would have already signed extensions.

Despite Herro being a terrible defender it looks like Ware might actually be worse

Idk what’s going to happen over the next 3 weeks but it’s time to give this guy a firm spot with the 2nd unit, Dru shouldn’t be getting minutes over him going forward

Herro-Powell-Larsson-Wiggins-Bam was +60.2 (144.4 ORTG and 84.2 DRTG) last night in 9 minutes of play (the highest minute count of any 5-man unit). The best net rating of any group that got more than 2 minutes.
Another data point validating Herro at de-facto PG when paired with Powell rather than forcing the pairing with Powell at SF. Herro may not be a real PG, but keeping him as the smallest defender on the floor helps make the most of lineups with him while giving him and Powell distributed time on ball to make stuff happen offensively.
Over the past 4 games (which represents the first window of time this season that Spo has gone for any real minutes without one of Davion or Dru always in at PG), the 2 best net rating lineups with at least 5 total minutes played are:
Herro-Powell-Jaquez-Wiggins-Adebayo (+76.2 in 8 minutes)
Herro-Powell-Larsson-Wiggins-Adebayo (+60.2 in 9 minutes)
Only 4 other 5-man lineups with a positive net rating in this span. Mitchell-Herro-Powell-Wiggins-Adebayo at +2.4 with a bad DRTG of 120.
