It won't happen, but a starting 5 of Chalmers, Wade, LeBron, Scola, and Bosh with Ray, Haslem, Battier, and Lewis leading the bench mob would be unbeatable.

Anyways, I can see Bosh being moved to full time center if Scola clears waivers and signs with us. His defense isn't great, but his offense would take our gameplan a looong way. He has got grit, post moves, and can shoo that pick and pop midrange jumper like Bosh.

no? okay...move on

he might be a good PF but he isn't what we need.

One thing is for sure: one of those guys Haywood, Scola, and Milicic, are going to drop through.

Then again, with the Heat's rep around the league, it would not suppose me either to see all three of them get bid on.

I'd take Scola over Haywood or Darko simply because Spo and Riley have made it clear that talent > position.

Chalmers/Cole
Wade/Ray
LeBron/Battier
Scola/Lewis
Bosh/UD

...is a freakin sick rotation loaded with versatility and talent.

That being said, I doubt we get Scola.

That is so stupid. He would CLEARLY make our team better.Anytime you have a chance to upgrade you do so,Riley even stressed positionless basketball where you just play your talent.

Scola is a HIGH BBIQ player but lacks size and defense. I would much rather get a defensive big man that can bang and rebound. Something that Haywood would provide. I wanted Camby but I would like Haywood as a nice alternative.

I dont believe we have any chance to get Scola.

With that said, he would absolutely be a huge asset to have. it's true, he not a great defender or 7"0, but his talent level cant be understated. besides, the bigs we're talking about about : Haywood or Darko or Turiaf - are not that much better then what Joel or Pittman could hopefully be. but Scola - we have no one with his skillset. if we move Bosh to play the 5, Scola is a notch above anyone we could play at the 4 (even if Lewis can bounce back this year, Scola will still be better. and we're not sure Lewis can bounce back).

But you cant get too greedy, Haywood, Darko, Turaif, Scola - any of them will be a nice addition.

I dont know how many more interviews with Miami's front office some of toi need before finally accepting that Bosh is now our starting center.

Would be so sick :o

How many teams in NBA history have been able to employ a 10 man rotation?!? Spurs of last season are the only one I can think of.

Sorry. Meant to ask how many teams have been able to employ a 10 man rotation of high caliber players and no scrubs? Because that's pretty much what our 10 man rotation would be.
