http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/position/1

Graham ranked high in RPM among PG’s. Right next to Lowry

http://www.espn.com/nba/statistics/rpm/_/position/2

Duncan ranked impressive 5th among SG’s while Nunn listed as a SG is ranked 25th.

Gil speaking on the Lakers, but it's relevant to us also. Put your best scorers on the floor.

If Butler were dealt, how many picks would you want in return if the Knicks had interest?

Kevin Knox plus how many picks = Jimmy Butler?

Riley not about that pick life. More likely then not Butler signing his max here.

Honestly the fear I have is the Heat getting Beal for the Butler return + Herro. I think in short time Riley would turn the assets into something more win now, but I think the Knicks being more impatient possibly gets them to offer up a lot for Butler instead of waiting to see who wants out once the following season plays out a bit.

But yeah, most likely, Butler extends and Lowry signs in Miami.

Do you think Dinwiddie will opt out after not playing for more than a year? I think that would be a big mistake.

Yup he’s opting out. Clearly states his demands in this article. He’s well over the injury and could probably play now if not for impending free agency. He will gave a good amount suitors including us who were rumored to have been trying to trade for him in order to get his bird rights. https://heavy.com/sports/Brooklyn-nets/spencer-dinwiddie-contract-free-agency/

His FG % has to be in contention for worst in the league for a guy playing 30 mins. Are we over valuing other teams players and devaluing our own?

I like Graham more as a true PG who can create over Nunn. But i also get your argument that the path of least resistance probably leads to just resigning Nunn considering we can go over cap to do it while allowing us to use our 23 million in cap space more wisely.
I think its more likely the Heat will operate as an over the cap team. Rather than sign players out right. It gives them more salary to work with. Our free agents likely would like to be in agreement with a trade to get a better contract

He is not available. Butler trade talk here is fantasy GM cosplay.

I know one thing, a player may get overpaid with a 20 plus mill contract but everyone not getting a 20 plus mill per year contract. Too many player everyone is saying getting 20 plus mill per year.

I'm old enough to remember when Dragic was going to get maxxed after we traded for him. Yes, fans and the media go nuts throwing around contract numbers for free agents.

Knox cannot b considered a foundational piece of any trade. Knicks would have to give up something very solid in order to get Butler. Something you likely wouldn't want to give up.

Serious, and I am the one person who is interested in Knox. I would only give a second round pick for him.

KP is just a bad idea for Miami. He seems to be a high maintenance, sensitive player that can't seem to maximize his strengths. Still young but geez. Would he survive the chewing that will come his way in a HEAT practice?

As for Lowry, I'd love to have him, but the contract would have to be much, much better for it to be a quality signing. 35 years old and 30 million per year? He'll no. Half that.

So hard for me to get excited about coughing up our entire cap space on the aging Kyle Lowry. I love him as a player but not at that amount and he's not going to fix all the other holes this team has. As I was looking at potential bargains at the PG spot in the free agent bin Devonte Graham really sticks out. I think that kid would really flourish with us and would probably only cost us half of what Lowry would go for leaving us money to keep building the team out. Graham would give us a young 26 year old exciting little PG who can knock down 3's and can also create.

Graham had DJJ and Crowder both covering him this game and worked them both. He's a fantastic target for what should be a competitive price. He's restricted but highly doubtful they match a competitive offer by us to have him as a backup to ball.

I think he fits the system and can be productive worth his contract. Just need to find a point guard at below 15 mill price. May be that player can be Devonte Graham the player MWP suggests.

PG: Graham
SG: Butler
SF: Robinson
PF: Adebayo
Ce: Porzingis

Better stay away from Tingus pingis. We don't need another Dipo situation here.
