Nobody should be worth keeping imo. If you could get 4 or 5 unprotected first rounders for Bam you do it in a hot second

I'm not disappointed in Riley he has done a great job for decades now, I think it's already in the hands of the Next Generation and he's just a face and an okay defender of lost causes...spo and the other guys in the FO have to pick it up now

If we get KD tomorrow no one is going to call Spos name as the person who brought him here. Literally no one. It has to work both ways.

I agree that Riley is one of the GOATs though. He kind of the primary reason I am a heat fan believe it or not. But he has been bad since LeBron punked him and he decided to take it out on D Wade.

I’m honestly a Heat fan because of Riley. I grew up a Knicks fan as a kid and loved the toughness of the Riley Knicks. He brought that same style to the Heat and that’s what drew me to the franchise and also moving down to Miami from NY the same time he left the Knicks made for an easy transition for me to follow the Heat. I would have never in my wildest dreams think that Riley and his front office would succumb to extreme small ball. This ain’t tough Miami Heat basketball. This is some weak soft ass analytics nerd dream team.

Well 4 or 5 changes everything. However, it has to be mediocre to bad type team for those picks to have any value. Otherwise it’s back to almost Gleague acquisition.

We can tank for Scoot (6'2) and play him at the 4

I disagree. Bam is a foundation player you build a championship team around. He might not suffice as prototypical superstar but he does a lot of things that are special that not many big man can do.

I was a Lakers fan as a kid before the Heat existed, however Miami being my hometown was a no brainer to support the Heat, and was thrilled whe Riley became the coach/ GM. It really put the team on the map.

1st rounders even if later would do wonders under the Heat developmental system

Only if you have him in the Draymond role but he’s never going to win a ring as a number 2 mark my words

Lowry stating the facts that offensive rebounds killed us but nobody in our media questions these guys about the size mismatch on the court

Sure maybe, but I don’t want to trade top young talent for maybe/ maybe not late picks. It doesn’t make sense.

Our pick is top 14 protected this year. We won’t tank and most likely the Clippers end up picking at 15 after we get destroyed in the play in game.

Bam isn’t top young talent. We’re never winning a ring with him being a top contributor no matter what his fanboys say

A Raptors fan coming in peace. He looked nice! A solution at the power forward spot maybe?

He'll be fine. He just needs to fill out.

Feels like the only thing that could salvage our season is a trade with another dysfunctional team that involves us getting 5-6 new players. Anyone who thinks we’re competitive with this core is delusional

Tonight you saw life without Bam, hope it humbled the haters and he’ll get the respect he deserves going forward. Hopefully he’s back for the next, there’s no hope without him

I agree because of his youth and inexperience, but he looks like a solid prospect. I know the Heat are looking for help at the power forward position, but I would not trade Max Strus in a deal for Jae Crowder. He is a keeper! I will be cheering for any team with Lowry on it unless they are playing the Raptors. Good luck going forward, and I hope both squads get healthier.

Maybe we can beat up on more team like the hornets and Suns minus CP3 while still missing the playoffs or getting knocked out the first round at best

Same. Love how the heat play. Very similar to the raps. They showed a graphic, the last 6 or 7 games between both teams were decided by 8points or less. Crazy.
Best of luck, unless it's against the raps
