Fit on this team might be too much to overcome, might have to fiddle with our line-ups to our strength's... which in largely is our talent.

To make use of our almost useless support (bench) offensively, probably best we try to attempt 1 in 4 out type of scheme to try an get as much value out of our "shooters" as possible in a scheme that would encourage them to shoot. Typically a starting line-up of Beno/Dragic/Green/Winslow(or Deng)/Whiteside... not pretty on paper but a better situation that helps us get more out of Whiteside/Goran and actually have a bench that could score. Would get more balanced scoring and defense on the bench and starting unit, probably wouldn't be a great team but more potential to be a good one with some balance.

... But in the real world, Wade being benched is not something this org is dated for... A defacto starting unit with Josh McRoberts is the best we can aspire to

I maaaade this thread already :nonono: All my threads are major keys to success :noway: Even made the Hassan thread. Didn't think that some of these things that are being counted against him currently would even be in play tho smh

You think benching Wade and Bosh is the most ideal scenario? I don't know, Bish...

A defacto starting unit with Josh McRoberts is the best we can aspire to

You're on point with this part, very on point :)

Financially/politically not very ideal but it gives us some consistent scoring off of the bench and bigger less conditional roles for Whiteside and Goran. Bosh/Wade could still close in what could be one of our most balanced options. 1 in 4 out is made for post players(Well "a" post player) and would make our deadweight offensively, a lot more useful imo

Goran and Bosh play well together (muuuch better than Goran/Hassan), so I don't know if it's ideal to bench Bosh in this scenario. And as you know, I love me some Uncle Beno, but I can't bench Dwyane for him. Fit is one thing, but I think you have to go with Dwyane when the talent gap is so large. Anyways, I still think the Goran/Dwyane will improve eventually. Yeah, it may be beneficial to split them up sometimes, but I don't think Dwyane has to be benched for that to happen. If anyone's going to be on the bench, it's probably going to be Hassan (partially because he's already there). I don't know if Stat is the long-term fix in the starting line-up though...

Talent gap is considerable but i think it would be a better mold for the team overall. Better for the bench and better for Whiteside/Goran. They don't really work well together but i've got more confidence that they could put two together than our starters simultaneously working together. It's not about separating Goran/Wade or benching him for Beno... it's about maximizing our talent and putting a shed over our current talent gap. Wade on our bench could be very beneficial for us in the right scheme... although that's not wat ultimately needs to happen

yeah i agree he is a classy guy.very like-able and hardworking to boot

yea good guy, im still surprised he stayed with us for another season

Deng seems to like it here. I think he is a great fit here. It's the system that stinks.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Wade should be his replacement in the 3-point shoot out

IDK DW he's really struggled in the last 6-7 games. Below 50% from the field. 28% from 3. His J has looked broken. I was worried that he was dealing with something.

It doesn't sound too serious though. Lucky for us the timing on this was good. He has 8 more days to recover.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Wade should pull out of the ASG with his shoulder issue as well. There's no better time to rest up than now since our next game will be in a week from now.

Heat have confirmed it's just a strain. I don't think it's anything too serious.

I was concerned because his heart issue first started with a calf strain last year. Looks like Chalm came to my panic attack rescue with those Bosh quotes.

Also was hearing the original reporter who confirmed the story on the Ethan show and said nobody was concerned about the heart issue.
