This is true, but come on. Some of those shots he took were a dagger...for the other team. He was bad tonight. It's okay for us to say it. He's been the sole, consistent bright spot on the team this year until Bam finally started to look good the past month. He will have off games, just gotta learn from them.

Yes, there are Heat "fans" who are jubilating that he had a bad game, but actual fans are just telling it like it is.

All facts.

It's frustrating because he has all the tools and potential to be a top 10 superstar, but he just can't put it together consistently. It doesn’t help when Herro is chucking shots tonight, though. I really wish UD was still on the bench; I bet he’d be in Bam's ear all game, saying, "Just demand the damn ball, killah!"

I've never really agreed that Bam has all the tools to be a superstar like others. Physically I can see the argument, but offensively he's never been like that. I've always said its a disservice to him to act like he can be. However he can be a lot more of an impactful player on offense than he is if he just looks for his shot.

Tyler...idk. He doesn't have superstar potential either, but we have seen he can be an all star. Even in this game, in the first half he was brilliant. But my God when he is bad he is awful. Zero basketball IQ. Just goes straight into tunnel vision.

Both our "stars" are just sporadic mentally. One is liable to a coward on any given night, the other is liable to be a complete and utter moron. There is no way you can win consistently with that.

Take the ball out of Herro's hands, get a real pg and turn Tyler into a super Duncan/Caleb and have him shoot or attack the rim, same with Bam...put the thinking into hands of a dedicated PG.

People talk about Trae ....I think that would be godly. Unlike the Hawks we have guys that can cover for him on defense, and he could share the load on offense.

I don't think the ball needs to be entirely out of Tyler's hands. Again, in the first half he was running a beautiful offense. But what I've noticed is that when his shot isn't going, he abandons that entirely. He's not comfortable contributing with the other things, without still getting his in terms of points.

I do still think we need a primary ball handler, but I don't agree that Tyler should just be jump shooting. He can play a very, very, very, very super light Curry type of game.

Hopefully Ware’s good to go and nothing pops up from tonight’s Robinson incident.

yeah...this....

I think the 4th qtr declines over and over and over are just telling us how close we are. Everything is fine until the 4th qtr and the lack of a legit PG/set up rears its ugly head.

The team spent the offseason rebuilding an offense that never really had the expected players on the court...we got PG issues, we lost Jimmy..... Hell we saw Bron-Wade-Bosh flail around in the beginning ....it should be no surprise our mid-season rebuild is taking time to settle in.

I am impressed, and looking forward to next year. Tank out this one, get the guys we want in the draft, retool the roster with parts that fit and lets go.

no no no this team needs a proper rebuild with guys that plays the proper positions without BS. this team also needs a leader with heart. as of know this team is full of glorified role players. all of them are role players that sometimes plays out of position. also this team in particular does not develop good basketball habits and discipline. there are times that it looks worse than a college team.

therefore, i want a proper rebuild. yes it will be painful the first 2-3 seasons but with the proper foundations from the top to the bottom the miami heat could be what it once was a serious and unpretentious type of team. that big three era did more damage to this team than good things. its good to be live in the moment but not at the expense of the future which is now.

do a proper rebuild with an intention to win and you shall prosper. what we have right now its a flawed product that at teams its even painful to watch

first time i saw Trae mentioned i vomited but i can see we need someone like that now especially for Bam and Ware. Herro doesnt have the IQ to be that main guy. the fast break where he stopped for the pull up 3 instead of going to the basket and drawing contact almost made me turn the game off. not too mad at the loss because were playing with house money but damn these blown leads hurt. the commentator called it out in the beginning of the 3rd quarter too  :banghead:

He felt the pressure to hit his average since he's facilitating in the first half. The game is on him, but it’ll serve as a valuable lesson in the long run.

Spo has been keeping Ware off the court during closing moments for a few games now. Maybe he prefers Bam at center and wants more reliable shooting at the 4 spot.

I can see where Spo’s coming from, considering Ware’s shooting is still a bit raw, and the spacing with Bam is still a bit of a concern when defense tightens up in the 4th. That's why Jovic's injury is big hit to this team. It's still a developmental season for the rook.

Surely not but he has to regroup and rethink what he wants to do with this team because “leaning on offense” this season like he’s talked about clearly has not worked

Spo has small ball in his dna

Prime Shaq could be on this team and Spo would find reasons to sideline him

I think Spo is burnt out and will step away. We shall see.

It seems that nothing he does works anymore.

He hasn’t had a good roster for years and we have been one of the most successful teams in the postseason despite that. Get some legit talent on the team and we’ll be fine.

Didn’t even notice the Kobe tribute from Herro tonight with the 8-24 shooting.
