If Oden pans out Portland is going to run the tables.

C - Mourning / Diop
PF - Beasley / Haslem
SF - Marion / Wright
SG - Wade / Cook
PG - Bayless / Banks

Walker is signed through 2011. $10 million a year.

Team option big fella, he's an expiring in 08-09

Look at this way. Heat dont make that trade, they dont have Davis and Blount to F**** up the team, they dont get the #2 pick, they dont get Beasley.
Plus, Indiana is creaming in their pants that they got Bayless, no way they trade him for a future 1st from the Heat - with Wade, Marion, Beasley they are a playoff team. Why trade the #11 pick for a pick thats going to be 16-30 next year?

We'd only have to make the lottery for several more years to give them a run for their money.

Draft express reporting

The trade is between Indiana and Portland we’re informed. Jarrett Jack, Josh McRoberts and the #13 pick (Rush) for #11 (Jerryd Bayless). Indiana must have a trade exception. Kevin Pritchard does it again! What a great compliment for Brandon Roy. We’ve been talking about this all year long with Portland’s scouts…

If we get rid of Blount, in a millisecond.

I wouldn't touch that trade. Tinsley has a year longer contract than Blount (effecting chances of cap space) and is one of the biggest outside shooting liabilities at PG in the league. He's overpaid and injury prone. I'll keep Blount thanks.

if that Por Ind trade is legit, Portland is gonna be a monster in the future.

Bayless / Blake / Rodriguez
Roy / Fernandez / Webster
Outlaw / Webster
Aldridge / Frye
Oden / #28 / Joel Freeland (still in Europe)

Who will be our PG? I think a Marion for Hinrich/Noc deal is good.

Good to see that scrubs like McGee and Jordan didn't go ahead of Hibbert.

Man Portland just keep getting better. And they'll never have problems re-upping their players either because they have such a good owner.

C - Oden / Pryzbilla
PF - Aldridge / Frye
SF - Webster / Outlaw
SG - Roy / ?
PG - Bayless / Blake

and not a player earning over 6.3 mill. No starter older than 24, two post scorers, 3 adept 3 point shooters. Blake (28) and Pryz (29) are the rotation vets.

It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. 2 Rookies next year probably takes them out of true contention (even if 1 of them is Oden). Does Roy become a superstar? Does Oden? Do both?
