In your wildest dream would you have thought the Heat would have a 6-3 record through 9 games at this point given all those factors?
I did. I expected them to battle for the top 3 records in the east. You gotta task those who thought Butler would only make the Heat an 8th seed.

i stand by my prediction regardless of the current success you can see that this team is not complete yet to be a deep playoff team.just for the fact that our rookies are hitting the proverbial wall (nunn and herro) and we also seem to have trouble agaisnt taller and athletic teams like the fakers and the chicken nuggets. i'm expecting this team to star losing a few more games as other teams figure them out.the fact that we have a conditioning problem when they cat win back to back games.regardless,i'm enjoying this young team so far but i expect no miracles. the caveat here is that the east is very very weak wish should help us.keep word is SHOULD...its a long season lets see what happens.already we are having our first crisis with waiters....stay tuned it could be a wild ride from here on out

I figured the team would be 5-4 right now, so only off 1(the Bucks game). I thought the 3 seed was a real possibility, but with Hayward looking like he's finally back after 2 years from that horrific injury unless Miami makes a couple of changes(adds another good vet scorer and someone who can come off the bench to protect the rim), the 3rd seed is probably out of their grasp. Boston has 2 proven scorers in Walker and Hayward, and a 3rd year player in Tatum who seems to have hit his stride as a scorer, that's 3 guys all capable of putting up 20 or 30 up every night and all they need to do is to upgrade a big and they may be good enough to come out of East.

It's what was expected, Bam and Butler being the very good players for this team with mostly average players and some inconsistent rookies. Please add 1 more plus vet player to this roster via trade. Also, Olynyk will get better, he took a lot of time off from being injured this summer, it's going to take a little time for him to get back to where he should be performace wise.

The team is being pretty tight lipped about the Waiters situation but I cant imagine the league wont get involved and launch an investigation here shortly.

Dion's trade value is now at an all time low. I can't believe I believed so much in this guy. What a waste of talent!!

It's non existent. Nobody is trading for the extra year on that contract. This is going to end up as a stretch provision situation. Maybe the longer they wait into the year the lesser the number gets on the stretch. Just spit balling but he's not getting traded.

I’m assuming Dion will just sit on the bench for two years now

Dion PLS

Gummies are really popular state side edible here. They are actually really potent. More potent then smoking that's for sure. It's a full body high and easily could probably leave someone in a stupor if you take too much. He was probably more comatosed then anything else rather then seizuring unless he had a bad batch mixed with something else.

Why stretch when his contract ends in 2021? perfect timing for a big time free agent

No need to stretch him. Who will they be going after this summer? This roster is pretty set for next year.

Because it's tough carrying dead weight on the roster for another year.

I agree nobody is going to trade for him, unless some team has a 3 year contract they want to get rid of. At this point the Heat need to make due with what they have and hope the expiring contract of Waiters+JJ+some developed D league players (Nunn+DRob?) gets the Heat another all star next season (Beal?). Point Winslow+Butler+Beal+Bam would be a great team.

Didn’t we already stretch Ryan Anderson? I’m not sure how all this works so

Miami Heat is leading the league in above the break 3s(39.9%). They are 4th in overall 3pt % in non garbage time minutes

Forgot about this. Might not even be an option. We are so stuck. Maybe we just say phuck it and bite the bullet and release him out right to get the roster spot.
