We can offer Marvin the most money among any real playoff contender, as we still have a couple million of the mid level left. Solomon Hill better keep his bags packed.

Wonder what it'll take to get Embiid this summer. I expect him to finally be available.

We have a zillion wings and PFs. I wouldn't mind getting for depth but I'd rather get a backup centre who protect the rim. We will need a big body against sixers. I don't think Bam will be enough in a 7 game series against Embiid and Horford. And I don't trust our other bigs to defend in the low block.

Well we do need some size. Iggy is 6'7 and Crowder is 6'4. Williams will give the Heat some length at 6'9.

So next season with the cap space we have we can make a run at Gallo outright on a one year deal. Ethan said on his pod that Gallo's agent knows that this FA class isn't great cause teams don't have money other than the Hawks. Barry's article said that we'd have $27 mill if we renounce everybody.

I think we should make a run at Gallo on a one year deal and if that's a no go then pivot back and try and retain Goran.

They'd probably want Bam + Herro and picks at the very least which to me isn't worth it.

It's a crime how Embiid is being utilized offensively in Philly, Spo is so much better of a coach then B.Brown and would get way more out of him, defensively Embiid's incredible which has a lot to do with his size, he's an MVP level talent.

I like Spo as a coach but post play is not his speciality

'member most of the Winslow detractors reason for wanting him traded was because we couldn't afford him a role, I said it was a fallacious argument and ppl weren't keeping it a buck;

And now Iggy's being praised for that role, my guess; ppl weren't keeping it a buck

I'm hoping for some vintage Iggy tho, we need it

I see ur point but even if I did think Embiid hadn't already reached his ceiling, which I do, I don't think Spo would get more out of him anyway.

I don't think the FO would give up Bam for him anyway, let alone Bam + Herro and others, which would prob be the price.

Ethan said his agent doesn't think he can get more than $18 mill. But I mean even still, if he wanted a 1 year 25 million dollar contract what do we care? We get better without hurting future flexibility.

He's not really wrong, some of Andre's advanced defensive stats in the playoffs and out of the playoffs aren't much worse than guys like Kawhi Leonard. He obviously can't do it for 35mpg every game but in short spurts he can still guard at an elite level. We will have to see if his claims that it doesn't just go away after 7 months at his age are true.

Embiid is a top 10 player he's worth that. The only reason you don't do that deal is because he's always hurt. But swap Embiid for Bam and this team can absolutely win a title. The roster construction in Philly is a mess and that is why they are struggling. They have 2 post players on the 3 point line because their point guard can't shoot. And noone in the starting lineup is a pure shooter.
