Precious played similar in that footage to how he looked with the Heat last season but regressed throughout the year. It may have been a bad fit or merely just not having the readiness of a full offseason. Anyways, best of luck to him. He is looking better.

I would much rather have Lowry at this point.

Probably gonna draft Precious in fantasy league just to mitigate some of the sting if he breaks out in Toronto lol

He could break out in Toronto, but Lowry is a game changer over here, there's no denying that.

Oh I'm definitely not second-guessing the trade. Lowry is still just too good for this team to pass on and Achiuwa was gonna have a hard time realizing his potential here with Spo refusing to play him next to Bam

If you look at Precious's possessions, he plays a lot of hero ball, Spo would have a fit with some of those plays. Precious is a good player, was a good draft pick and asset for us but doesn't fit in Spo's system. And yes Lowrie is a game changer.

BTW, I thought we made a mistake by not going after Kyrie when he wanted out of Cleveland and ended up in Boston. It goes to show you once again that Riley knows what he is doing much more than me. What a mess Kyrie is. In Pat we trust, as has been proven to me once again.

I think people know this deep in their hearts. They project their faith upward to the best possible trajectory the team can accomplish because it feels good. It’s like when you buy a lottery ticket with the co workers and start talking up what you would do if you won in-fact it’s almost guaranteed in your mind!

Kid loves putting a target on his back. Just put your head down and go to work.

Yea he's cocky, I think that's good for him.

You don't get this cocky if you don't put in the work. It shows he aint afraid of the pressure or criticism.

Now he needs to back it up.

Defense looks better this year, passing looked great last game despite the shooting struggles.

Just keep working on making 3's, decision making, being consistent - and we'll have a legit high level scorer.

Dion Waiters. Self-delusion is no substitute for on court performance. He's only 29 years old and has been out of the NBA for a season already ... and effectively out of it for 2 since he barely played his last season. There are guys with less talent with jobs in the NBA. Confidence is great until it gets out too far in front of performance. At that point you become a problem to manage.

Herro better stay hot once the real bullets start flying, or he's going to get eaten alive by the fans and the media. Last year he was kind of a joke among NBA fans. It's only going to get worse if he doesn't put up after making this kind of noise. He would do well to remember that he wasn't considered the best rookie on his own team his rookie season, and he probably wasn't the best 2nd year player on our own roster last season either. You'd think a little humility would come with that reality, but I guess that's not for everyone. Until further notice, he's in the same class as Kendrick Nunn, not Luka Doncic.

let's not get ahead of ourselves with lowry, he is looking great but he has to help to get us into the playoffs and perform

agreed. Can't get ahead of ourselves with anything. The real competition starts in April and the regular season won't exactly be a cakewalk either. Miami has aging players and a bunch o guys with everything to prove. But, that said, things look like they fit better than last year and it will be intriguing.

Were going to find out here soon enough when the season kicks off if he can back up those words. He’s going to find out how quick the media is to point out how wrong or right you are these days!
