Call me a homer but I would not be willing to include JJJ AND Jovic in a deal for Lauri, especially if we're already giving up Herro + 2 FRPs. That is a massive overpay and one that is not worth it for a guy of Lauri's caliber.

I feel like Niko is more of a 3/4, whereas Lauri is more of a pure 4. Niko a better passer, Lauri the more polish and aggressive offensive player and better shooter.

I think Niko is closer to a Franz Wagner type than a Lauri type personally.

Herro is moving in a trade. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is a move to Detroit or Charlotte nets us a little more wiggle room.

I'd be okay with including Jovic instead of Ware, but not JJJ and Jovic both. That's basically equivalent to 4 FRPs for Lauri. He isn't worth that package IMO. He's not a star-level player.

This is the big thing, and this is a shot at no one on here, but there’s ALWAYS several people that’ll point out KD or Dame or whoever not winning the championship and be like “yea we really should’ve threw the farm at KD” or calling dame washed 5 games into the season. Like yea they lost but did they have Jimmy Bam and Spo who almost always make deep runs as it is without that player. Youre not really saying what you think you are by pointing out they lost
