Well, scratch Odom off of our list.

The trade is official. Mo Williams is heading to Utah and Odom back to LA as a Clipper.

We need someone else not named Lamar that could start at the PF or C next to Bosh, i rather not start Battier or UD or our bench Centers. Realistic options :

1.Camby
2.Kenyon Martin
3.Boris Diaw (unlikely to leave the Spurs, but seem like a good fit here..)
4.Andray Blatche (Via Miller trade. not likely, very risky, but he's got the talent and he's young)

Can you think of anyone else?

@Rex
Actually that's not even one of the reasons .
Look man, it's ok to be wrong, but the least you can do when you're kinda clueless about something is stop talking **** to other posters, dont bitch and complain about Riley and Arison and talk like you're an expert. you're not and that's cool, everybody has the right to voice their thoughts..just try to learn and listen a little too..

Anyway im with you about Ray, getting him would definitely make us more confident about the shaping of the roster.

Really?

U can't get Okafor for 12 Milion?

Give them a 1st round pick...trade Haslem, Miller, Joel for Okafor

You still have Varnado, Pittman and that Justin Hamilton guy.

You still can keep Curry and etc.

The salaries pretty much match.

They can buy out Miller cheaper than what they can buy out Rashard Lewis which they wanna do.

The hornets get a pick and cap room, Joel and Haslem.

The salary of Haslem, Miller and Joel are equivalent to Emeka OKafor.

It would've been a sweet trade...so yeah I am an expert and genius.

Submit to my Bayless-like greatness.

All the Hornets wanted was a salary dump and not be bogged down by Emeka's and Ariza's contract.

They are not gonna play Rashard Lewis, it could've been a 3 way trade to dump off Ariza.

Now, Ima enjoy my summer vacation and go to the Miami Heat thing with the pornstars.

Cable you post dream scenarios lol. Nobody is trading with us, we're the champions and on top of that the whole league hates us. We also have no money to sign all those FA's.

Not to mention Okafor is garbage and Haslem is better than he is and much more relevant too.

How hard is it to realize the Heat will keep on throwing a scrub C to start during the regular season

Turiaf, Joel repeat

Change in postseason

Heat aren't worried about getting the first seed

This **** x1000

Home court screwed us in '11. I never want that in the finals ever again.

No, we're keeping chalmers and that's that. He gives effort on both ends, he's clutch, and he's a good shooter

Indeed. Each time we had home court disadvantage, we won all 3 home games. I'm beginning to see a pattern. :D

I just hope we never have to play a team with Dwight Howard or bynum in the playoffs since we think Bosh is our center

Riley Assures He Won't Amnesty Miller Or Cut Pittman

http://www.foxsportsflorida.com/06/29/1 ... eedID=3720

Miller isn't the only Miami player who has gotten good news this week about his future. Riley said the Heat won't exercise an option to release center Dexter Pittman by Saturday's deadline. So he will be on the roster next season for about $1 million.

"Big guys, when you draft them late, it's a two- or three-year project," Riley said. "He's going into his third year. We expect improvement."

Kenyon Martin and Ray Allen.

K-Mart. Not a center, but can play there. He is tough, defensive, can guarder smaller players if switched (SF), has a mid range shot, and can finish. I'd love him here.

We should try for Hickson.

Return to Miami Heat
