We may not NEED one but I'd like to see us pick up Darko and Oden if Hamilton isn't ready. I think that'll be a fantastic off-season for us.

PG Chalmers/Cole
SG Wade/Allen
SF Bron/Battier/Miller/Jones
PF Bosh/Haslem/Anthony/Lewis
C Darko/Pittman/Oden

Considering that most of the SF can play SG or PF and the PF can play PF or C (Lewis PFor SF or SG) and that Wade and Bron (even Miller) can play PG if required. That's a good and flexible team.

If we pick up Darko I would seriously shop Anthony (probably for a PG but could be any position) and consider trading him along with our future pick or preferably another player (Jones, Pitt, Cole) to get an upgrade.

Nazr wouldn't be bad if we can't get the others mentioned. I'd much rather have him than K Martin and even though I love Turiaf's energy, Naz offers something that we don't have.

On Hoopshype:
Heat fans should appreciate Ray Allen next season, because there's no assurance he will be here beyond that. Two sources with direct knowledge tell us that Allen’s two-year deal with the Heat includes a $3.2 million player option for 2013-14. So if Allen wants to become a free agent again next July, he can. So can Rashard Lewis, due $1.4 million in 2013-14. Miami Herald

Didn't know this. I thought it was a three year deal...

And Greg Oden, and like many people have pointed out we do not need a center on this team at all.

We don't need a C to be a full time contributor, but we do need a C to have available and ready to play depending on the matchup.

Anthony and Turiaf are fine, or Anthony and Darko.

I want Oden but you can't depend on him being healthy at all, especially in 2012-2013.

Basically, he'll opt out if we fail to repeat and he has a down year/conflicts of any sort.

If all ends well next season I'm sure he'll be here to stay though.

I thought Ray had two years, plus player option.

Wow, he really is only making half of what Boston offered him. $6mill/2yrs (2nd year being the player option)!!!

I've always heard that this was a three year deal, so I don't know if i believe that.

Ethan J. Skolnick ‏@EthanJSkolnick
No third year on deal. RT @Black_N_Blue13: @EthanJSkolnick So, is there no 3rd year on the contract?

1 year 3.2m deal, player option on 2nd year.

This means Allen could hit market in 2014 along w James, Bosh, Wade. Cd see scenario where players take less 2 continue 2gether.

I think these guys will have to take less if the miami big 3 is to continue together. Arison is going to be murdered in luxury tax with current salary levels and I'm not sure I can see him paying so much for so long.

I swear Ray's contract was 3 years. With the last year being a player option.

Whatever, no one is leaving if we win lol.

I don't think Ray would relocate somewhere for a year to make himself look like an ass to join another team to win if we lose. One thing is to leave Boston after 5 years but I don't think he would just leave us a year after.

Anyway we have nothing to worry about right now.

@WallaceNBA_ESPN: Conflicting reports on Ray Allen's contract length. Latest says 2yr deal w/player option in 2nd. First reported as 3yr/w option in 3rd
