Even JJ and Mion? I believe they have 58 minutes combined this season. LMA may not be a prime player, but what would the Heat have to lose?

What a 1st half. Impressive! Need to stop being so careless with the ball in the 2nd half.

They've officially done it. This team got me to commit to League Pass again. I can't keep reading the results, I need to catch the action. When DRob puts in a shooting performance bordering on that of a legend like Big3+1 Rio, it's must-see TV.

I thought this tweet was funny. Cavs coach doing scouting mid-game for Donte Robinson. That's doing your homework both late and wrong.

I think the Justise talk is a bit premature. Why not wait to see how he looks in his return. I still think Winnie is better with the 1st unit than the 2nd unit, and Leonard seems like the obvious guy to move to make room. Does that negatively impact our rebounding, or size matchups? Is the biggest fear that we're currently on a roll, and changes might disrupt chemistry? I think if we're going to give Justise a proper chance, and a proper look, now is actually the time. Do it in the early season. We have a taste of what can work already, so reverting back to it after a trade shouldn't be problematic. But I'd feel really uncomfortable with trying to move Winslow right now, when the sample size alongside Jimmy is so small. Particularly because the 2 of them present a formidable wing defense that could be really critical in the postseason, when we might face some high-powered offenses. I just think about that bum Wiggins getting hot in that game at Minny, and we were a Jimmy away from a win. I don't think you forsake Justise's defensive versatility for a run of offensive efficiency that might not last.

I just think back tot he Big3+1, and as efficient as our offense was back then, our greatest challenge was defending the 3pt barrage from the Spurs. A strong wing defense, with Bam's mobility backing them up, is a nice piece of insurance for when the games actually count.

I'm just sayin....

Whether Winslow is starting or not is a moot point. He’s gonna play a lot, and him and Jimmy are going to learn to co-exist.

Robinson is playing great, which is fantastic, but he’s 2 years older than Winslow and offers little when his shot isn’t falling. I’m hoping he’s found his comfort zone, and if it means he’s a spot starter that plays more when he’s hot and less when he’s not, so be it.

Knowing Spo, he may well opt to keep the good times rolling with this lineup for now. Winslow has missed a fair bit of time and will need to work his way back in at any rate. Best he does that in the second unit initially, but maintaining his on ball reps alongside Herro and Gogi.

Don’t really want to see him play the 4, but it could work if he’s defending 4’s but playing on the perimeter offensively. I think that was Spo’s mistake last time, trying to make him into a screen and roller and stand in the corner guy. That’s not his game. I think (hope) Spo knows better now.

Obviously I have my bias, as I want Justise to develop and play well. He’s a high level role player that could turn a playoff series. Not many guys his size that can play on ball the way he does.

I do feel like we are all suffering a little recency bias though. Justise was playing great the first few games before injuring his back in the ATL game, missing time, coming back and getting hurt in that abysmal Denver game. The most recent games he has played have not been him at full health.

He’s an unselfish player who fits our pace and space offense, and hellacious defense. He’ll be fine.

Not a statistician, but anyone taking anything from those samples... Might be more influenced by confirmation bias than anything else. You guys
will handwave net ratings and other stats showing him being a positive player but take stuff like this to the grave. I mean, the other isn't even half of the former, and we should take it seriously.

i'm not going to overreact to anything at this point bish

we beat ATL without Trea twice, Cavs twice, heavily injured Pistons and Pelicans, and Grizzlies. Our signature wins are vs Bucks and Hou but lost most games against tough opponents. It's way too early to celebrate. But it's great that we're beating up on weak teams that's what good teams are supposed to do and we haven't been able to do in recent years.

let's go Heat bish

Lone impressive win against a good team that wasn't on a back-to-back/at our home was the Mil win, but we'll devolve into this type of nonsense at the snap of a finger

Just wish everybody would keep it a buck and say that what it boils down to is that they don't like Winslow's style of play instead of insulting everyone's intelligence with this stuff every chance they get

Compared to what we've been subjected to in recent years, I have a hard time blaming anyone for celebrating a bit. Miami right now is doing what great teams do, which is blowing out teams that are clearly either rebuilding or just bad, and frankly we haven't been fully healthy either.....lest we forget we were without Jimmy for the first 3 games. I hear ya on Trae Young, but I have a hard time believing Miami would've lost those games had he not gotten hurt. We'll never know sadly....but we got two matchups left.

My biggest concerns about this team is our reliance on 2 rookies for scoring and the abundance of turnovers. Against the elite, the latter ain't gonna fly. Hope we'll learn that lesson with as little pain as possible, but we're due for an awful loss as a result of it.

Can't wait for Philly. I think they're a flawed team, but their defense is legit and they have the size to give us problems. Jimmy is gonna have to start establishing his offense earlier against the elite in the league. Let the others follow.

Honestly not sure what to do with Winslow. He's redundant next to Jimmy in the starting lineup, and Goran is flourishing as the PG off the bench. These are good problems to have mind you, but still.....
