I think I see what you're saying, Houston will put up with Harden's antics no matter what because for them its Harden or nothing. I was looking at it on the other side, how long can they put up with Harden acting up this way, effecting their team's morale. But yea', if Houston is in the mindset that its Harden or be a lotto team then you're right. If I got your opinion wrong, then my fault.

Houston reportedly said that they were willing to get uncomfortable with Harden situation and that's the right move. They aren't going to just get rid of him for the sake of harmony in the locker room. If he's traded to Nets for some underwhelming talents for his silly antics, then every unhappy star in the league will frolic to strip clubs with cameras.

I do not know what Houston mindset is. But they are not the Timberwolves who at the time were investing in Wiggins and Towns. Houston has no one to build around. After Harden its find the star to build around again. Plus the NBA is a business unless it hurts their sponsorship money, all the drama Harden is bringing attracts views. When he is gone they will lose views.

I do not see a reason why we assume Rockets are under any pressure

The bigger problem is, Harden may be putting his teammates in real danger or even possible long term health issues. The NBA needs to step in. I'd consider suspending him and not allowing him to be traded for a while, players can't go this far where they're endangering others like this.
