Miami Heat: 24-22
Phoenix Suns: 26-20

This is an important game. Miami needs a win pretty badly. Let's get the job done.

Miami is 32-38 vs Phoenix all-time in regular season. They've never played in the postseason obviously.
Miami is 16-18 vs Phoenix in Miami.
Miami lost the first 16 games against Phoenix.
Miami had a 12-game winning streak vs Phoenix in the 2010-2015 period.

Image

Miami have a 6 game losing streak and are 3-7 over the last 10.
Phoenix have lost the last two games. Booker scored 44 pts in the last loss vs Orlando.

Image

Heat's Possible Starting lineup:

(Scary) Terry Rozier, Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, Haywood Highsmith, Edrice (Bam) Adebayo

Miami Bench: Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr, Caleb Martin, Kevin Love, Nikola Jović, Thomas Bryant, Josh Richardson

2-way players probably won't play. Oscar Robinson is also in Sioux Falls.

Image

Miami Injuries:

Dru Smith (out for regular season)

You might remember the last game in Phoenix:

But here's another Grayson Allen video from last year:

Image

Phoenix Possible Starting lineup:

Devin Booker, Bradley Beal, Grayson Allen (heat killer), Kevin Durant, Drew Eubanks

Phoenix Bench: Eric Gordon, Keita Bates-Diop, Udoka Azubuike, Chimezie Metu, Josh Okogie, Jordan Goodwin, Nassir Little

Phoenix Injuries:

Nurkic (thumb sprain, might play)
Bol Bol (right foot strain, should not play)
Damion Lee (right meniscus surgery - out)

Image

Comments: 1. Feb 8, 2024 is trade deadline.
2. Miami has a free roster space. Signing a 15th player also adds more eligibility for 2-way players. It will happen.

Herro would be real nice if he could get to the line, but for now he’s more like a streaky shooter

He had the teams worst +/- also had the teams worst +/- before our 4th quarter run too, and was playing abhorrent defense. The reason why we were able to make that run to begin with was because our defense was actually doing work on the other side of the ball. I am sure the coaching staff saw the same thing we all saw watching the game.

That is similar to what I was saying.... Rozier, one of the energy guys, Butler, Bam, and another big with Herro as the 6th man.

I'm not sure how you get the other big guy though.

Butler and Rozier had the worst +/- on the team because Phoenix couldn't score for most of the 4th. Such a misleading stat.

Yall are acting like something special happened in the 4th, we always make a little fluke run when the other team stops trying up 30

KO is the only one that seems realistic for the price but i’m willing to bring him back and see how it plays out again. Better than what we are doing now. Possibly have to draft our next stretch big

I think I saw a Heat player sweat in the 4th, that's something!

They care. I thought we played a decent 4th quarter (which is a rarity this season). We were out of the game already though.

Not sure what's up. Ready for RBW's tank thread...

We had our chance and blew it with the front office thinking Herro was even remotely close to Mitchell, even some fans believed it

It sucks too because Ainge is one of the few GMs that randomly has a hard on for Herro, that deal was sitting in our laps lol
