Do 4 team trade Beal and a 1st to Bucks, Butler to Suns, Middleton and a 1st to the Heat and remainder to 4th team for salary purposes. Then, turn around and trade that 1st and Rozier to Bulls for Lonzo or for Malcom/filler. Problems solved.

In that first year, he got called soft, and the fanbase even wanted to trade him for Dwight Howard after that finals loss.

It's eerily similar to how Bam is viewed in today's forum.

Bam is a g. Things are in flux and he’s the captain trying to hold down the fort gotta give him some slack. If we get rid of Jimmy, then he sucks the rest of the year and then it even goes into next year then we gotta start asking ourselves wtf is going on. Also he does so much out there hes never gonna be on 100% on both sides of the court at all the times.

What were people saying on the forum about Bron at the time when he choked hard I’m curious lol ?

LeBron received the most flak in that 11 finals. Spo as well, too late when he realized to start Rio over Bibby.

Herro has to work his ass off to get his.

Ware makes it look easy.

I don’t think so, teams aren’t really defending him much and gameplanning for him much yet. They’re going to have to adjust though or he’s hopefully going to continue making them pay. When they adjust I’d assume his numbers will level out some but this will lead to better opportunities for others so that’ll be a plus. If he can level out around 15-8 a night that’d be huge and he’d win ROY pretty easily

Probably not rn. But maybe in 3 years? If he keeps developing n puts some weight on his body?

Maybe, you never know! Depends on how he develops and how Spo wants to use him. I think as long as Herros on the team he will likely get the most shot attempts considering he is paid to score

They should’ve never lost that series, up 18 on your home court in the 4th quarter of game 2 and gave the game away. Had no business losing that, looked like our current team. **** still makes me sick to my stomach (if I was a Heat fan and not strictly a Bam stan that is)

It's not even about Bam's game to game performance. Question is can Bam and Herro be 2nd and 3rd options in a contending team. If not then go rebuild. The goal for FO should be having a team like Boston or OKC that can contend over a decade.

Stubbornly sticking to one way of doing things is how we got here. No one in FO after not extending Butler considered trading him. It's always do what we can to compete now even its obvious you can't. The option of full rebuild or trading one of Bam/Herro should be on the table. Their play for a full season and what offers you can get for either should dictate the FO direction. But sticking with a core that isn't very good for culture or pride is kind dumb. Depending on how the season ends, the FO should be open to a full or mini rebuild. We can't act like Bam is Doncic where even the thought of trading him is scandalous. Everything should be on table after the season ends

Y’all hated this Bam too, I was here, I remember.

None of us hated that Bam. Would love for current Bam to resemble this Bam. Like two totally different players.

Who here hates Bam? So weird to take it to that extreme, but I'm used to that guy's talk now, lol

Anywho, the only problem w Bam abandoning 3 and getting back to the middle game is, does Bam n Ware fit together on the court if Ware occupies the middle?
Yes, Bam is the cornerstone of the franchise n the management still believes in him i think.
It's no hate. Just trying to assemble the best team.

Fan boy all sensitive w/ recent pouring criticism of Bam  He sh*ts on other Heat players to protect his BF, Adrice gets some criticism & he’s the victim :clown:

Questions already been answered with Bam, he was the 2nd scoring option on multiple deep run playoff teams. If you’re going to have a true number 1 and then someone to jump Bam as a scoring option then you should be good to go based on what we’ve already seen.

I'm in full crash out mode. Let's fully tank out for a chance at Flagg.

Disingenuous & we can see through Jimmy now being more about himself than anything else. Indicative of his recent behaviour. One of the greatest to wear a Heat jerz. Shame.

The Heat still wouldn't be one of the 5 worst teams in the league and even then, less than 15% chance to get him and 40% of top 5 picks end up busts. Really, tanking takes 3-5 years of losing. I don't think Riley or any fan here can enjoy that.

Nothing changed during December as the tweet suggests. He came late to the media day. Had 3 points in the season opener. We explained it away at the time. But seems more consistent with this current behavior than just some random incident/bad game.

When I started watching, that wouldve been top 10.

Which is why it's really important to take into account 'inflation' when trying to compare stats from before (specifically scoring).

Some people on here have compared Bam's stats with Chris Bosh's, stating that Bam has outplayed Chris Bosh during his time as a Heatle (I'm looking at you my friend, 13ammy  ).

Chris Bosh in 2010-2011 averaged 18.7 points per game. Bam in 2023-24 averaged 19.3 points per game.

Chris Bosh in 2010-2011 was the 27th leading scorer in the NBA. Bam in 2023-24 was the 60th leading scorer in the NBA.

Bam had less usage, slightly more shot attempts (.6) It cancels all that out, that’s also Bosh’s best scoring season of the big 3 :)

Bam isn’t on Bosh’s level as an offensive option and shot creator. But frankly I don’t want to get into this discussion again. Carry on.

Also, enough of the personal attacks. I’m too old, tired and cranky to be phucked policing this but I’ll start doling out some time off if people don’t cool it.
