He spent two years between Minnesota and Philly after that before 6 years at Miami and now GSW. There is plenty of time.

Now whether he is the piece that you keep or not to start another build I think you could debate. Though I think he is the torch carrier for the Heat Culture and it is worth more than some are willing to admit to the Miami Heat staff.

Short of drafting Flagg or landing a Durant level star, both highly unlikely scenarios, the correct roster construction strategy, imo, would be to trade Bam in the offseason for a maximum return of draft assets and perhaps young players.

Regarding the age and situation comp to Jimmy, it doesn’t register imo off the simple basis that Bam isn’t on that level. He doesn’t have it upstairs the way Jimmy did and still does.

Bitched your boy last night, he wouldn’t even look at the rim when Bam was on him. Was hilarious to see

No way in hell Green should be the DPOY. He is just an average defender now.

He wasn’t in the race at all and then in one of his postgame interviews he said he wanted to win another DPOY before he’s done. This was like a week ago and he almost instantly became the favorite, embarrassing.

Not only do they let the dude get away with murder and play by a different set of rules but now they’re going to hand him an award because he told them he wants it

Bam for Castle and a pick haul would be stellar indeed

No idea why some of you are eager to push bam out the door.

Imo, herro, rozier, and Duncan are the only ones I'd look to remove.

I think at the moment the sentiment is to do an honest rebuild and get rid of them all. If we're lucky do a OKC style rebuild. We can easily end up as the process, but right now we just don't have what other teams would want except for Ware and Bam( That's not a slight at Herro. But everyone seems to have a high scoring SG in the league.) And right now if we continue the course we're more likely than not going to be doing what we were doing before Jimmy. Treadmilling.

In Bam's case it's two things. One not to waste his time and career. Two, he's the guy that would get us the package that would allow us to rebuild. I think Herro is a better player than Mikal Bridges and the stats back it up, but no one is giving us 5 picks and a swap for him.

Bam
Ware
Wiggins
Jovic
Herro
Duncan (contract reasons next season)
Mitchell
Highsmith
Jaquez
Burks
Larson
Love
Anderson
.
.
.
Terry

Is the way I see our players (rotation players) in value terms of when other teams look at us.
