I'm ok with this, but also I don't think Heat will trade for him.
Don't know why everyone is pushing it, 76ers just dealing with a rival and then also Heat only wanting players that fit their culture.
Media is pushing for it, but I don't believe the Heat FO has any interest.

If Pat and Spo see the potential, and decide to invest into this trade, then I will support.

With that being said, I will not be team let’s get Harden. I will consent to it if it means Lowry and 2nds OR a swap OR a protected 1st, anything more and I am not comfortable imagining it. I will let the big dogs making the big bucks overthink that one.

striking out on Beal, Lilard, Jrue AND Harden in the same offseason would also truly be a real testament to Heat Culture and our environment.

We can potentially give more assets than other teams are willing too. Lowry and a 1st might be more than other teams have offered. Maybe Jaime idk.

That gives them a big expiring and more ammo to fill out the roster.

Lowry and a pick only. Not going to include Jovic and Jacquez.

Nope. Not putting Caleb in. We need him defensively to matchup with Celtics and Bucks who added more pieces. Who are we gonna have to guard Tatum, Dame, Brown, Jrue while Bam is protecting the rim. That would more to Butler work load he'd have to take one of those assignments.
You can't move Caleb without getting another 3 and D player back who can play heavy playoff minutes.

Id' do Harden and Tucker for Lowry, Robinson and a 1st.

Philly can sell it as bringing Lowry home, upgrading the 2nd oldest player to Robinson and getting a pick.

If for some reason they need more, I'd give up a 2nd 1st before trading one Jovic or Jaquez. Jovic was project pick that may have hit good enough to be a long term rotation/starter and Jaquez seems like a solid rotation player for the next 8 years. Rather have either of those at this time then a late 1st round pick.

It would be a trial year while retaining his rights. Maybe offer 3 for 75 the last year a team option unless they can extend him for 2 years for 50.

Yeap, when Boston goes small with their death lineup of Jrue, Brown, White, Tatum, Horford we need to be able to respond with Rich, Caleb, Jimmy, Highsmith, Bam.

It's the only trade combo that really works.
Can't send JJJ or they'll go over the 2nd apron.
The alternative is trading Duncan + Lowry vs Harden + Tucker, which also requires more assets to be put in.
Caleb's role can be taken by JRich/Highsmith/JJJ, Duncan's role is not as easy to fill.

Lineup would be:

Bam/Jimmy/JRich/Herro/Harden

It's more offense and still 3 solid defenders, certainly an upgrade, but they don't need to do it right now, just waiting is fine.

Hard to strike out if you never even decided to come to the plate…

Your assumption here is that the Heat want to be at the plate on this.

Right, the info is that it's someone's guess that Miami will go after Harden because of the current construction of the team and quite possibly the price, but I doubt they're in it.

If you look at it, Harden wants to score more while distributing the ball, that would be a great fit in Miami. Defensively not so much other than he holds his position in the low post better against bigger players then most PGs would.

Can Harden even meet the conditioning standards of the Heat? Better yet, will he even want to?

Jimmy gets away with EMO and Rasta Yimmy stuff because he meets all other Heat Culture criteria.

Strip Club Harden can’t and probably won’t care to meet the conditioning criteria, much less the professionalism criteria.

Puke, if Riley does something like that, just go out back and retire like an old race horse, I hear that its far more humane how its done these days.
