Miami Heat Regular Season Thread 21-22 Vol. 3

With the greatest SG in Heat history being out for a little just makes more sense to bring back Dragic.

In the short term sure, use him off the bench to keep our guys fresh while we wait for Hero & Oladipo to return. Very unfair to him though because whos minutes is he going to cut into in the playoff's. There's nobody on the bench unit whos minutes should be cut other than our back up point guard if he gets injured. Right now our advantage from the bench is our youth/speed/3pt shooting something I remember him lacking the last year he was with us. His slashing days of breaking down the defense either from the top of the key or off a rebound are behind him.

Doesn’t hurt to bring him in and see what he can do. If anything having him here for chemistry and leadership is more than will get from anyone else filling that spot. His last game he had an efficient 16-5-3 and we know he won’t be scared of the moment. We can’t say that for any of the young guys or Duncan

This is HUGE I have a very good feeling about Dipo. He’s going to bring a whole new dynamic to this team

I think basically Shaq thinks we’re top 4 but we won’t win it. Chuck thinks we’ll be right there but not sure we can pull it off.

I was encouraged by Jimmy’s 4th quarter play tonight for the first time in awhile. Dude was a force. Too many dumb mistakes to close and shooters missing shots to pull it out.

Tonight also made me want Dragic more. He could’ve given the extra offense we needed. Gabe seems to be very inconsistent lately

At the very least he could have stabilized the offense. The problem with Gabe as a young player is that he can't bring calmness to the game when we're struggling like Mike or Goran would have.

As a side note, I'd take Dragic on the roster over Kyle Guy. Gabe Vincent is our young project point guard, we don't need 2.

Gabe still has a whole career ahead of him, hopefully on a good contract with the Heat but right now give me the guy who’s going to impact winning more. Dragic is just much more reliable and can make plays when everything breaks down.
