Y’all need to do some deep thinking if you can’t think of multiple reasons why the Wizards may want Duncan, strictly on the contract side of things.

Really wanted to keep the 18th pick but we’ve worked out basically all second rounders aside from Nick Smith Jr. The player i feel like they would be coy on who they know really well is Jett Howard. Would prefer dealing 2028 and keeping 18 for cheap talented roster fill.

As cool as Beal would be here, that contract is gnarly. I like shiny things as much as the next guy, but damn, we are hooking Washington up for the mistake they made.

We’ve been desperately trying to flip Duncan for two years so if Wiz feel like they can flip him then more power to them. They did flip Bertans so i believe them lol

Does anyone actually believe there is a market for Duncan on his contract? Honestly? A good playoff run heck an ok one doesnt magically erase the past two years. Thats not even mentioning his contract.

I agree, but for all we know....the Heat are already negotiating the follow-up trade and need as many picks as possible to pull it off.
