After more than two years of planning and preparing, of salary dumping and cap-carving trades and wishful thinking, the Knicks may well find out that it was still not enough to land LeBron James .

According to multiple NBA sources, the two-time MVP Thursday night is expected to choose the Heat, where he would join fellow All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh . The two Wednesday announced their commitments to the Heat and neither Wade nor Bosh had agreed to terms, which suggested they were waiting on James as the third piece.

the knicks forums is crazy right now, i thought chicago fans were the most confident they would get lebron, but knick fans act as though lebron already has a statue ouside of the cube.

Yeah the Knicks are my favorite, if I could change my posting allegiances I would definitely head that way.

Show of hands, how many care more about the Dolphins than the Heat???

Obviously I'm a Knick fan, but my issue is that no city, especially Miami, should be awarded that tandem. It's bad for the NBA. It's bad for LeBron's image.

I wouldn't even want my Knicks having those 3. It's overkill and takes the competitive spirit out of the game. What's even worse is the eventual indifference Miami will show. How are you going have empty seats in playoff games???

Even when the Knicks were at their worst in MSG, we still had a packed house of rabid fans on their feet cheering DEFENSE!! and getting excited for meaningless games. This is a sad day indeed. Keep Wade and Bosh, but Bron should not be a part of this travesty. The NBA is dead

i care more about the dolphins than the heat, but i think thats jus cuz football is a bigger sport
