I can see Hawks pulling out a win if we are too casual. Herro for sure needs a huge bounce back in game 2 and Bam needs to take more shots. He only took 5 shots which isn't enough

Idk about Bam. Passiveness is kind of his default. So if we're depending on heavy offensive output from him we're in trouble. He will continue to be great defensively though. He was key to this win in his own right.

On the other hand I know for sure Herro is not happy about his output today (even though he actually didn't play poorly, just missed shots) and will be more locked into making sure it doesn't happen again. Especially with a guy like Trae on the other side who he always seems to want to show out against.

They did pay him a huge complement though and put by far their best defender on him. I think he should expect more of that and will need to look at tape, see how they're approaching containing him defensively, and adjust his attack.

I think he and Trae will mirror each other in terms of bounce back next game. But I expect Trae to be inefficient.

This win felt better than devouring an entire full rack of ribs at Shorty's or Flanigan's

Oladipo is the break in case of injury to a main player at this point, you're not going to put a player like him out there to get hurt in garbage time.

Call me crazy, and I don't want to put the cart before the horse, but I think once we get past Atlanta and meet teams that are much more of a challenge defensively, we will absolutely see him. I just hope Dipo trusts the process till then.

Well in my opinion Herro did play poor today, not because he was not hitting shots, that can happen to anybody, it was his horrendous passing causing a bunch of turnovers. I am very confident he will bounce back.

You're entitled to your opinion. I thought a couple of his TOs were not entirely on him and happened in the flow of the game. So I don't think the numbers tell everything.

Either way, whether you think he was horrible or not, he can play a lot better and will need to.

That would be an encouraging sight if he bounced back in game 2. He is now averaging 8.6 points over his last 5 playoff games.

Took care of business. Honestly, that Hawks team has little resistance defensively, and there’s not much they can do different from a game plan perspective either. Especially with no Capela. Should be a sweep.

Someone do a video breakdown of Strus 9 points please. He is the reason the 30 point blow out.

He does the little things

6/6/5 and 1/5 shooting that’s our max player

Must be coz he had covid

That's a good point. He's still getting into the swing of it.

One thing I will say is that Struss played some really good defense all game.

I mean I would get the criticism if it was a close game and bam had these numbers. Are we supposed to force feed Bam when our shooters are red hot. Makes no sense to me.
