Sure. I don't think they did.
So he was a failure there also. Ricky Davis on steroids

An interesting analogy.

Love should help, but it doesn't matter if this team is not overall healthy.

I think it's more likely we're a 2nd round exit, but Jimmy is a completely different animal in the playoffs and it's hard to quantify that impact during a regular season where he's coasted more than ever.

Finally we can get back to bitching about other posters.

we should have concern here. Lowry's lack of meeting professional nba fitness standards of someone his height and age is breaking his body down. Tyler is injury prone and Vic has been in and out all season although we do know they are being very cautious with him. It's a shame because if all 3 were at peak health (conditioning too in Lowry's case) I think we'd see our backcourt as a strength... there's just always something wrong. Last year in the PO it was Tyler and Lowry completely done.

sounds like you're the one bitching. I'm just happy the "insider" stuff is over with so the talk becomes realistic and about our team and not people seeking attention. but sorry did not mean to interrupt your bitching session - you seemed to be having fun. go on.

Yeah its a real concern. For years Duncan was an Iron man and now even he is injured for long period of time. Love at the very least allows the Heat to add more plays and buys time for Jovic development. Im glad the Heat didn't trade Jovic. If Jovic is coachedbup right he can be a very good complimentary piece to Bam. A poor man Tony Kukoc or Hedo Turkoglu

I think I mentioned it before but the 1 thing we have going for us is that overall Vic, Love, Zeller and Lowry should be fresh for the stretch run. It seems Jimmy has been on a maintenance program to some degree (as mentioned by E Reid's minute B2B minute restriction) so he seems like he might be healthy enough to gear up a notch. I'm a little worried for Bam. Last couple games he looked gassed and was limping after a tough hit in the Orlando game. Hopefully this is where Zeller comes in with productive spot minutes.

Yeah, I don't think he makes us a championship contender or anything, but I think just having a big useful body that can stretch the floor will allow us to move up past the Nets and Knicks. But the fans tapping the breaks are spot on. Love didn't fall out of the rotation in Cleveland and get bought out because he was killing it up there.

I just thankful Bam doesn't have to fight for rebounds by himself all the time. Building around Bam to him him needs to be priority number 1.

If PJ Tucker and Jae Crowder can raise out ceiling I think Love can as well but in a different way. He’s now the best fit offensively we’ve ever had between Bam and Jimmy and he’s been a far better than both PJ and Jae combined tbh. Let’s let it play out.

I bet if we knew Love was coming via buyout we would’ve been more willing to offload assets at the deadline to fill the roster out.

This coming summer is HUGE for us one way or another. If we do nothing then expect nothing, this team typically doesn’t do much at all at the deadline

No way both Strus and Duncan fall out of the playoff rotation. Duncan is expected because he is already out of it, but Strus will be in it regardless.
Spo shrinks the rotation to 9 in the playoffs. Someone not seeing minutes.

Kevin needs to start so Martin can go back to being a SF, off the bench and Heismith is our backup small ball PF/SF in certain minutes. While I agree vincent needs to start over Lowry it wont happen. Theres too much player depriciation happening on this team already. Lowry starts and should be first off the floor, try to regain some value before shippinhñg him off into the ether later.

Many of you are yet again walking a fine line on the baiting of other posters. Don't be surprised if suddenly some of your accounts are shut down. If any poster continues to bait and incite posters by name then once again don't be surprised about your fate.

I hope so, I know Shaq and LeBron are interested in ownership. So is Dubai, maybe they’ll partner and we’ll pay the tax every year thanks to Dubai not caring

Still rumors about Dragic being released. Will be dramatic to see how the Heat reacts to that.

tbh i'm not seeing the resemblance.

Granted we didn't see a ton of Jovic, but exept from being white and somewhat tall, he's going to be a diffrent type player IMO.

1) Love was an elite rebounder, I don't see Jovic being that.

2) Love was a great shooter - I REALLY hope Jovic can became that, ATM his 3 point shot is too funky. I'm praying they fix this ASAP because he a nice jumper from mid range, but the 3 point shot is crucial.

3) Jovic in considerably taller and might still be growing, I think his defensive upside is higher then Love's, who was always a below average defender even in his prime.

4) While love has some nice outlet passes, he was never much of a creator for others. I think Jovic has a natural vision and passing talent Love never had.

To me, I feel confident that a guy with Jovic's size, vision, BB IQ can be good soon - but to be great he'll need to become a very good shooter from mid range and from 3, that's the swing skill for him. I'm praying he'll shoot as well as Love had.
