To cut the deficit to 25!!

If that happens in AAA in the midst of a close game the roof is coming off that place, it’s a shame

Some people here need to keep Bosh’s name out of their mouths.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Don’t see anything wrong with it, IMO it’s disrespectful to even mention an unproven Bam in the same breath as a Heat legend like Bosh. All those sacrifices + big moments in big playoff games and this is the level of respect shown? Too many prisoners of the moment and the what have you done for me lately crowd on the internet

Bosh rulz. Great player. Love how he added the range. He reminds me of Kobe when it comes to skill, patience and shot making.

Without hos rebound the big 3 only win one title.

We’re talking about his tenure with the Heat, specifically the big 3 era as a 3rd option compared to Bams 4 years as a starter, 3 as the 3rd option 1 as the 5th and it is definitely debatable.

When you say he’s an 11 time all star and bring up Toronto, that’s great, he had an awesome career but that’s not what’s being discussed.

Bosh career > Bams career so far

2010-2014 Bosh < 2019-2023 Bam

That's because Bosh deferred his numbers to work with Wade & Lebron. When anyone of them were out, or even both, Bosh carried the team on his shoulders easily. Bosh is who I wish Bam was. Bosh defensively was one of the best bigs in the game. He was #1 in P&R defense.

When lebron left, Bosh was supposed to step up with Wade, but he was forced to retire at 31. That's a what if we'll never know, but we can deduce the output would resemble Toronto Bosh. You're cherry picking the years he was a 3rd option to compare to 2nd option Bam who has FAR more usage than Bosh ever saw down here.

We would be contenders if we had Big 3 Bosh in place of Bam.....but we would be absolute favorites if we had Big 3 Bosh AND Bam. Like JJJ & Bam teaming up lol

People also seem to only want to compare offense. Bosh is obviously and clearly a more skilled and impactful scorer

that's without a doubt.would love to see bam to have a workshop with bosh. maybe he would learn a thing or two about midrange shooting and scoring up inside

bosh never (that i remember) missed a basket in the paint.

Garbage time competitor

The Buck's commentators mentioned how different Robinson looked out on the floor with the backups after he made his first 3, they seemed to think he looked like a completely different player and he did shoot well. It's something for the coaching staff to look into, to see if there was anything they can put their finger on that flipped Robinson's switch. The Heat are still screwed this series but maybe they can find how to get more out of that horrific contract.

It's not hard to figure out. No pressure.

Bam isn’t the 2nd option and his stats this season are better than both of Boshs seasons post big 3.

I’m comparing 2 guys in similar roles and you guys are losing your damn minds and pretending Bam is some random scrub. And Bams usage isn’t far high than Boshs ever was in a Heat jersey, ALL of this stuff is literally out there to look up.

Bam defers his numbers too, any 3rd option is. When Jimmy is out he’s averaged 24-11-4 this season so he’s stepped up to the plate as well.

We would not be contenders with Big 3 Bosh on this team in place of Bam, he was a damn good player but he is not making up that ground lol. So JJJ is as good as Bosh?

Yep, Bosh was a better scorer 15+ feet and out but does that give him the clear edge when bam is the far better playmaker?

Thread is going up today.

Prisoners of what moment? Coming off getting wrecked and Bam having a very mediocre game?

The facts are the facts in any moment. Heat fans have built up Bosh in their memories to something he was not. That's fine 99% of the time since it hurts no one. Bosh was not the scoring machine that Heat fans remember him to be. He barely outscored Bam while taking more shots and more inefficient shots even while he was the 3rd option in the Big 3 era. When Lebron left and Bosh was maxed out (again) and expected to take on more of the scoring load, his average only rose to 21.1 ppg on 16.9 shots per game before the blood clots took him out ... which is .7 ppg more than Bam scored this season on 2 fewer shots per game.

Was Bosh more comfortable with his offensive game? Sure. But he didn't really accomplish more with it.

I don't know why that fact triggers some Heat fans, it's a fact anyway. Both are/were primarily complementary players who couldn't carry the team offensively but could do some damage. Bosh did most of his damage from outside of 10 ft ... Bam does most of his damage inside of 10 ft. Both are/were good defenders who do/did what was asked of them without complaining.

One is loved and the other despised for reasons that make absolutely no sense.
