Someone is having some cognitive issues.
It's either me or whoever built this roster with 4 Centers, 5(!) SGs and 1 PG and 1 PF.
Positionless basketball is the trend right now. The goal is to have a roster that's super flexible and adaptable, with players who can cover multiple positions when needed.
Take Rozier, Herro, and Burks. They're not stuck in one role. Rozier is mainly a PG, but his scoring and ball-handling let him switch to SG easily. Herro's great at scoring and playmaking, so he can play as a PG, SG, or even as SF. Burks is just as versatile, able to handle PG, SG, and SF roles too.
In the frontcourt, you've got even more flexibility with Bam, Jimmy, Jamie, and Jovic. Bam is a perfect example of a positionless player. He can play PF or C, handle the ball, pass, and defend multiple positions. Jimmy, usually an SF, can also play SG or PF, thanks to his defense and scoring from different spots. Jamie can switch between SG and SF, and Jovic can play SF, PF, or even a stretch C.
This whole approach is about making the most of each player's strengths. It means the team can handle different challenges on the court with a flexible and adaptive strategy.
