Wiggins just hasn't worked for us. And I agree with you.
He's good enough to get value back in a trade but he just isn't an X factor. You send him in any trade that lands you a player like durant immediately.

If we had actual good contributing players from the money going to Rozier Wiggins Duncan, this team would compete with anyone.

We need to flip Wiggins next year. He’s not really a great fit with this group and we have young wings that need the playing time. We need another ball handling creator on the wing

Wiggins is a 3rd option type player. His greatest success came playing next to 2 all time greats in Steph and Klay.

We definitely have a lot of routes we can take this summer when it comes to trades. Definitely have to move Rozier, Duncan, and Wiggins

One thing though. we’ve heard time and again how useless Mobley is, especially when hes mentioned as a contender for postseason awards. Maybe it’s just me, but dude seems like a certified baller and deserves every one of the accolades coming his way. The cavs are a really good team. Don’t get me wrong, I still think we can take ‘em, but nothing wrong in acknowledging the quality of our opponents.

Coming out he was supposed to develop into the modern Duncan. That's still possible to be honest.

Not even trying to nitpick here, but getting just 59 points combined from the other two so-called top players over two games isn't cutting it. But hey, do your thing.

I’m not doing anything is the thing, not even defending Bam here although I don’t agree with having him in a Shane battier spot up shooter role tonight. Was just pointing out that you’re using PPG from matchups to determine how guys are doing in the series. You propped up a guy losing his matchup for the series compared to another guy winning his matchup (based solely on PPG which is a terrible way to view the game) by narrowing it down to a 1 game sample size. “I knew Herro would cancel out his matchup (he hasn’t) but we need more from Bam and Wiggins” painting it as they were both losing their matchup while Herro was playing to Mitchell’s level or above. While also discrediting the importance of defense and other aspects of the game throughout the night.

And again, I’m not arguing Bam was great and Herro was bad or none of that I’m just pointing out the nitpicking. The fact is, PPG wise Herro has a good game and a bad game, bam has a good game and a bad game, Wiggins has 2 bad games and is getting destroyed in the matchup you gave him with Garland.

Sure buddy everyone knows. I'd imagine if Herro scores 11 pts this game, you will lead the brigade

Between points and assists, Bam produced at least 29 points in yesterday's game (assuming all assists were 2 pointers--which they weren't--so it's higher). Bam's season average production between points and assists is 26.7 points (assuming all assists are 2 pointers--which they never are).

His shot wasnt falling (1 for 5 from 3). Need to get that on track.

Throughout this season, Bam has had 65% of his FGM assisted (a normal rate for PF/C players--majority are higher). Through 2 games this playoffs, Bam has had 53.8% of his FGM assisted. So any delta in scoring can mostly be attributed to plays where Bam is a play finisher and others create the look (which every healthy offense needs to be doing with their bigs).

This Miami team has had a deficiency in players that can create their own offense and only has one real perimeter creator overall. This isn't a new revelation.

Tyler had a great game on offense--super encouraging. Bam was rock steady on offense and was our essential monster on defense.

This is still a Miami Heat team that won 37 games on the season (below 500). This an extremely complete and locked-in Cleveland team that won 64 games on the season (something only 7 teams have done over the past 10 seasons).

Miami still needs more offensive creation. No question about that. Perspective will set you free, though.

Mobley is an extremely valuable player for any contending team. He's one of the most similar players to Bam in the NBA in terms of how he impacts the game. A little more length, a lot less strength.

Cleveland is playing legitimately great ball and is showing real playoff mettle by answering every run Miami goes on. Miami is outflanked. THat shouldn't be surprising.

TBH Cle's build looking so good should be encouraging for Miami's current build if we can just reel in a big fish with Wiggins/Jaime/Jovic/picks.

bottom line is the organization did not give Bam and Tyler a real number one option to give them a real chance at a title. Being bad financial moves or bad trades, at the end this team is not even close to win it all unless we get another prime Wade in here.
