This might be it for Rox, as they're currently run. Last yr of D'antoni's contract too, Atkinson probably already got a knock at his door

Finally, a voice of reason. The MVP is the most valuable player for the NBA, it's not weighted on a player's age or how many the have or will have in the future, it's all about the most valuable player for the NBA for that particular season. I hate the idea of someone getting special treatment because of their age or they just need another MVP. What it sadly ends up being is the media needs more stories, creates more narratives to talk about and then the wrong player gets the award based off narrative.

Only Rose got MVP based on the narrative in a recent memory, so it isn't big deal

Well, it does help whoever wins it with money outside of basketball. The current narrative is that Lebron is old and still doing well so give him the MVP.

Rose shouldn't of gotten the MVP, in a more recent time, Westbrook shouldn't have gotten it either.

100% overrated

But it's hard to imagine playoff games with only trainers and janitors in the seats

True. It's like watching a sitcom without auto-laughing audience in the background.

at the end of the day this will most likely be a phase (albeit might take a while). do whatever needs to be done and come back strong.

imagine any of the actual NBA players getting it. I'd imagine 99% of NBA players will be fine, but that could take out a whole team for a month in quarantine because they will all be considered close contacts. Oof

I am almost sure he will do better elsewhere health wise, in the mental aspect and strategically ( that is if he is not used as PF)... that is the sad and ugly truth, winie is young but he was beaten up here in Miami too many years playing against stronger opposition

I strongly disagree with fandom being overrated ...mental and marketing aspect play a huge aspect in the game, specially in the NBA
