Dejounte Murray and Herro cannot co-exist together on this team, seen him and Trey not work out in Atlanta I would feel like Miami would either use Herro to go for Murray and something else, or use Herro to go get a PF of note and strength the front court and get Murray with Lowry. A package of Herro, Jovic + 2 FRP's should get us some premier talent where ever available. Id throw that at Cleveland and see if they would be willing to let go of Donovan Mitchell.

I mean I’m down to trade Herro for sure whether we get Murray or not but him being neutered next to Trae doesn’t compare to the fit next to Herro. Trae is elite on all scoring wise and a playmaker, Herro is neither but he thinks he is. Spo would need to nip that and let our PG be our PG while Herro changes his style to a Klay Thompson type game which fits his skillset far better.

Sign me up for sure. I’d trade anything we have outside of Bam Jimmy and likely JJJ to get that done.

PJ Washington is also represented by Mike Miller’s agency. Would be amazing if somehow we could get PJW and Rozier together without killing our tax. Would need a third team to take on Duncan. Duncan’s salary would essentially be PJW’s just 4 million less next year.

Lowrys big expiring, Jovic as sweetener, and a 1st can entirely fix our PG situation and in return improve the team a ton. It’s that simple.

Imagine getting PJ Washington from the Hornets? That dude is the absolute prototype perfect fit next to Bam

Rozier
Martin
Jimmy
PJW
Bam

That’s alot of versatility there on both sides of the ball, sign me up.

Yessir I would love it! Would solve our 2 weakest positions, fits both Jimmy and Bams timelines with Rozier and PJW and Bam finally has his long term running mate at the 4

Damn I completely forgot about Herro here lol, they’ll start him over Martin but maybe change it if we struggle and have him back in his best role which is 6th man

Lets’s say Lowry, Jovic, Duncan, and 1st to Hornets for Rozier and PJW. Hornets then need to find a taker for Duncan that gets his salary off the books. PJW will not work without including Duncan. The cool part is it can actually work cause PJW salary goes down to 15 next year instead of Duncan’s 19.4. We save 4.4 on the deal.

I could definitely see the Hornets as a team who’s looking to start over from the ground up looking at swapping PJW and his contract for the cost controlled Jovic.

I’ve been a hardcore PJW stan since day one lol. I’ll take him with our current core over Jovic right now.

I'm thinking it's the 2nd reason though.

Murray called his own number and went against the coach's play. Now you know why they need to move him as soon as possible. I'd probably quit perusing him completely at this point but would still do my due diligence on the situation to see if there's something more going on there but even if there's a reason that "could" be valid, you don't do this unless you're the franchise player who can get away with that.

There are 3 glowing Basic needs in this heat team If we want to win championship now or in next few years, how we address them is up for grabs .. Bam needs help (young Athletic strong Rebounder Preferred) , We need a point guard (fast good defender preferred) And Jimmy is getting old (a high volume scorer Would be preferred)

Return to Miami Heat
