You guys have convinced me. The Heat played it cool with ice in their veins with Jimmy because another star will become available for him. At this point I think they should probably pivot from KD though and set their sets on SGA. I think he fits better than Gainnis or Jokic and I'm sure Bucks and Nuggets would want Jacquez or Rozier back in the deal along with Butler. Better to just trade Butler straight up for SGA.

We'll get KD eventually even if he is just a role player at that point. Riley went after Gary Payton for years until he finally came to the 2006 Heat.
